definitely too good for Memphis. OKC won the season series 4-0 with an average margin of victory of 19 points

This isn't a personal attack but why are you such a prick about Scoot???

Is it because picking him pushed Dame (according to you "feast or famine) Lillard out? Is it because Cronin oversold how good he was going to be coming into the league? Is it because everyone had him as the second or third pick and we picked him third?

If you want to rip on Joe for the pick, go for it... I think it's a pretty idiotic thing to complain about seeing who was drafted after him (that draft just wasn't that great) and the fact that he was the consensus at the time but if anyone is to blame it's Joe. Instead you continue to rip on a young guy, who hasn't had the opportunity to flourish because of Ant and has a seemingly fantastic attitude and work ethic.

It's bullshit man, just pure childishly stupid bullshit.

Giannis Is a great physical specimen. Incredibly athletic.
He has also got to be the worst team player I have ever seen.

He might be, or he might not be. But let's not act like Pritchard at the same age Scoot was, wouldn't suck ass in the NBA. Dude is 6 years older than Scoot is. Scoot is still 2 years away from being as old as Payton was in his *rookie* year.

Give Scoot 6 years of growth and it's not crazy to think he'd be better than Payton is now.

    Different. But yeah.

They should definitely train together, IMO.

Have the Bucks ever been able to utilize Dame to his full potential? Seems like it’s been a struggle for him there since day 1. Definitely haven’t seen anything close to what you would expect success wise from the Bucks since acquiring Dame.

They will probably win at least one at home, but this 2-0 series should already have them on Alert if they want to prevent another first round exit.

That's the way I see it. They need to get both of the next two or this is over. Yes It sure seems like Lillard doesn't do as well as the second option behind Giannis. Not sure if that is Doc's issue or GA. When I watch Lillard in crunch time I see him calling for the ball but it never gets to him. If GA would kick after driving in the lane Lillard was wide open numerous times. But GA always goes for the shot and of course gets fouled but then can't make the FT. Tough to watch. It's like he doesn't understand Dame is called Mr Clutch and what Dame Time is all about.

Terry probably doesn’t mind where he is right now. Might get another ring before this is said and done.

I would say yes - what you are seeing is about what I expected with Dame on the Bucks.
    It's a significant mis-alignment of skill sets.

Be mad at the entire scouting system. Like I said rip on Joe, even though I don't agree with that, it's not close to as stupid.

The fact is the hype was not Scoot's fault and it sure as shit isn't two years later. The things Scoot can control, his attitude and effort, are pretty unfailingly great. So just attach who you think is to blame in the future or for fuck's sake just stop beating this dead horse.

It shouldn’t be though. To your point, I understand that Giannis is at his best as a point forward, and Dame as a point guard. But like @kjironman1 said, there’s no reason those two strengths can’t be used together. Dame operates as a PG using screens to get open looks or drive. Giannis works best driving into the paint.

I think it’s got to be like 90% on Doc Rivers failing as a coach at encouraging the two of them to play off of that as often as possible.

If you had Giannis and Dame in Stotts’ offense you would absolutely see a difference in performance.
