    Softening is exactly what’s happening.

That whole administration is all about insulting people’s intelligence.

The parent has told the child what he needs to do in order to negotiate. Will he get his allowance back or continue his tantrum?

Compulsive liar is going to lie and then double down on his lies. Rinse repeat....I didn't vote for the asshole! He's so predictable, he's become a caricature of himself.

Trump claims he has personally made 200 trade deals but won't say with whom or what is in them. He will tell us at some future time. When he releases his health care plan, his tax return and Barack Obama's real birth certificate.

Not a single international cargo ship at the Port of Seattle. The port is effectively dead. The last ship from China will dock at a West coast port on the 29th, and the last Chinese ship will dock on the East coast around May 10th. After that, there will be no more shipments arriving from China. We're about to hit a level of scarcity at retailers nationwide that will make covid seem like child's play.

    Coffee.

    I need my coffee.

and while at Costco getting more toilet paper and paper towles. Not because they're made in China, because the pandemic taught me those are the first things people hoard.

Also, it isn't a bad idea to have emergency food. You can find Readywise buckets with 120ish servings at costco for like $65.

Best emergency food is dried beans and grains. Can store at room temperature, keep indefinitely in tightly closed container, highly nutritious.

People always think about the wrong things in emergencies.
The important question is, what are you going to do with the dead bodies?
Bury them? Burn them? Feed them to your rat army? Eat them yourself?
No matter how you answer the question, you'll need supplies.

Trump is like that character in a sitcom that's ran way too long and they just become an insufferable one note character people get tired of.

Except he's been that one note the entire time, the writers just decided to ratchet it up.
