So we are in the 4th year of tanking. I wonder when we'll decide we might as well just tank 3 more years to ensure we keep the full 2028 swap as well as don't have to send a first round pick to Chicago at all over any of those years.
They're going into their 3rd year after the full tank (the tank didn't really start until they traded away Damian).
Thank you. The tank was when we reset, not when we just sucked with a detached/injured roster of vets and random mediocre youngins. technically it already ended this year. A few games at the end of the season mean nothing. Was far from a tanking season.
Bucks can win as much as they want right now. It's in 2 years we want them to decide to go full rebuild.
if Bucks lose in 1st round again, It could very well be that Giannis will ask for a trade this summer. Rebuild might start 2 years earlier than 2027-28 Brook Lopez 36 Damian Lillard 34 Delon Wright 32 Pat Connaughton 32 Giannis Antetokounmpo 30 Taurean Prince 30 Kyle Kuzma 29 Bobby Portis 29 not a young team. Crazy that Connaughton is 32 already
We sure as hell weren't trying to win Dames last two years once Neil was fired. Call it whatever you want.
I think we could be like the Magic or Grizzlies this year where we sneak into the playoffs via the playin and then get swept. I'm not sure how that will help with trying to eventually contend, it might hurt long term. But a bunch of fans here will celebrate that.
