    Purely personal rock bottom but I need to vent.

    PGE has scheduled outage for maintenance but I have solar so it wasn't supposed to affect me. Then all power went out. Called solar, they will get here later

    Decided to do errands, take cookies to post office. Just had $2400 work on my car. Worked fine Saturday. Today won't start. Waiting for tow. They are backed up, expect in 2 hours.

    No power. No transportation. I want a cup of tea!

    Dishwasher gave error code. After three resets I think it's working.

    How quickly we get spoiled, my last house had no dishwasher. Dinner parties, Thanksgiving, all my baking, washed everything by hand.

    What a day! No power, car dies, dishwasher dies.... Lashanna is alive. Count blessings.

    We literally have almost all human knowledge in our pockets.

    And we're working on an interface that will give us immediate access to that information on command, even if we don't know where to look for it.

    25 years ago the idea of a handheld computer that actually fits in your hand and that didn't die in a few minutes was hard to comprehend.
