The boom from that waterfront is wild. From a kid until my 30s that west waterfront was just garbage. Hell even the east waterfront was pretty much garbage except for Beaches and husong and Larry's!
It was just grain mills and such. I think they had been shut down for years. Beaches was gross. They’re replacing it with a place that is a chain. Like Oswego grill or something? If you head a little further east there’s a restaurant called The Cove which in my opinion is the best seafood spot in the Portland/Vancouver area. The outdoor area is spectacular on a sunny day.
The cove is fucking fantastic. Had a great dinner outside there and it was delightful. Full recommend just like you!
Don Chito’s breakfast burritos. Share with them true Portland cart eating! It’s part of our culture here! Wait. Portland isn't Milwaukie, is it? Nm.
Always looking for good seafood, but when i searched The cove it wasn't clear which one you weee referring to?
It’s actually situated right on the gorgeous Columbia River just a stones throw from the Christiansen yacht facility, which is home to where a Tiger Woods colossal beaut was constructed in the early 20 aught’s It’s a bit of an expenditure there, so take the old lady on a fancy feast there for just a special occasion. Don’t bring those Molalla manners to this establishment as it’s a fine dining experience.
