Okay so for some reason fanspo doesn't have all the picks in the right place.

    Here is the base trade:

It looks like Houston has these picks to potentially trade

    2025 PHX pick
2026 HOU only if they get top 4 (which they won't)
2027 BKN/PHX/HOU (they have the best two of the three available for trade.
    2028 HOU FRP
2029 BKN/PHX/HOU (they have the best two of the three available for trade.
    2030 HOU FRP
    3031 HOU FRP
    2032 HOU FRP

So for draft capital you could send:

    To MIL
    2025 PHX pick
    2028 MIL swap
    2029 MIL FRP
    2030 MIL SWAP

    To POR
    2 picks from 2027
    2 picks from 2029

Here are the picks that Houston controls.

So is Portland sending out RW3 and 2 swaps and getting Eason, Smith, AND picks?

and 2029 Mil FRP. You have to read the post. For some reason Fanspo doesn't have all the picks. I broke down the picks in the post.

Okay you know what, take Portland out of it.

Is this fair value for a guy who averaged 30 ppg, 12 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and a block per game and is only 30?

    Jalen Green
    Jabari Smith Jr
    Tari Eason
    2025 PHX FRP
    2 2027 FRP
    2 2029 FRP

Is that an overpay for a legit MVP candidate in his prime?

Then you have to ask, what is Milwaukee's draft capital worth to them?

Sorry, I missed the 2029. But that seems to have 4 picks coming back to us? That's WAY too good in our favor. We give up 1 pick and 2 swaps, that alone is likely not enough for Eason and Jabari. Then we get picks? I mean, yes please, but no chance Milwaukee includes us.

Jabari Smith Jr has been a pretty massive disappointment so far. 12 ppg and 7 boards. He's worth taking a flyer on.

Eason is nice but he's not a blue chip player. 12 ppg and and 6 boards.

They're both role players most likely.

Keep in mind, that Deni cost 2 FRPs and he was a pretty damn good player last year. There has to be some kind of impetus to make us give them their picks back. I don't think picks alone is gonna be enough. So what's good value?

I think no picks coming back to us. Still don't know if we're included, but Jabari immediately becomes our backup 5/4, and Eason 3/4, and I love love love a 3, 4, 5 of Camara, deni, clingan, Easton, jabari. Figure out our backcourt, but that's a great frontcourt.

I like those players too, but are they worth giving up the chance at maybe a high lottery pick in those three years that we control their picks?

How much is it worth it to Milwaukee to clear Dame off their books? Is this even worth it to us? We get Eason/Smith Jr and the picks.

I think this trade would be a really interesting and sensible trade for every team involved. I think most of the Giannis trades you've proposed are very slight overpays but this one gives them the value of cap flexibility, Jalen Green, (the Bird rights on those guys from our team) a lotto pick in this draft (I think it's an overpay if the pick jumps to the top 4), their swaps back and they'd still have some players they could sell off to make their team young and probably competitve starting next season.

I did want to say that all of your trade ideas where we trade Milwaukee's 2029 FRP back to them just don't make sense to me... either it's the value of the best of ours, theirs and Bonston's or it's the value of the worst of those three. Trying to re-negotiate with Washington just doesn't seem like it would be way too complicated when one of the other two options is very easy to execute.

I really don’t think Giannis would want to go there. The roster isn’t that good.

I don’t want to give up both Ayton and RW3. One or the other.

    What breaking news....

A chronically injured player who's been a big disappointment could be available for a title winning 30 year old MVP.
