You know the funny thing is that my wife wanted Durant badly over Oden. She saw them both interviewed and thought Durant was driven, confident and had the "eye of the tiger". Plus she saw a few of his college games. I wanted Oden but thought Durant could be as good.

Ha, that is one serious tin foil hat conspiracy theory. I will believe it when we land the 1st pick and then trade it for the 10th.

Love your optimism. Flagg would be worth it for sure. But if Im Atlanta not sure that French dude is worth 3 times more that last years 10 pick?

Good point. Last year, it was probably not worth the extra 7 million.

But to my point, they still tanked harder last year than they did this year with Flagg available. I am sure Jody and Bert want to stay under the various caps for the same reason we all do......so the Blazers have more flexibility when it comes to obtaining players. But I doubt very much that she instructed them to win more games so she did not have to pay more for Flagg.

I think Joe and Chauncey were on the clock.
This team is a subsidiary of a mother ship, that apparently didnt care if they finished bottom three. They were wanting to be convinced that this team now has some good enough pieces to take another step.

We traded Scoot +10 for the Hornets #2 and we drafted Harper.

Wild one in Boston. Looked like Knicks were toast and suddenly up, Boston ties, Knicks got a good shot with 5 seconds left but it rolled off. Then win in OT.

We said in the West 2-7 pretty interchangeable. In East it's 1-4. Two games, two upsets.
