Some people rub well with anyone and dont look through you. I heard other cardinals say his mannerism in communication with peers was key in him being selected. Have you ever been part of a large group, association, organization that one tor two people seem to get a long with everyone and nobody has a negative thing to say about them. Im not referring to an ass kisser but a genuine characteristic and effective communicator.

I think this is one of the reasons we have an American Pope. Making laws that priests have to violate the sanctity of the confessional is wrong.
