Yep. That's our only hope. We're just going to have to hope we "win the lottery" like Denver and Milwaukee and maybe get a shot at contending at some point before this group is used up...

Certainly won't be the draft lottery, but I do hope we can develop guys and get better. Not looking great though.

Yeah, Rupert MVP 2028... that's as good as any other route that we have towards a championship.

Nah, Shaedon is extremely talented, Tou and Deni are the kind of forwards you want around a lead guard like that. Should we try to land another potential superstar because Shaedon hasn't shown whether or not he can be that? Yeah but more likely we should get a big that's switchable on D and can hit open threes on O to complement Clingan. Take some swings on young players who had a ton of upside coming into the league but haven't been given an opportunity to show what ehy can do like Jarace Walker in Indy or Anthony Black in Orlando.

If we don't get the right value to trade out of the draft at number 11 maybe it's worth 15 and 25 to the Thunder to move up four spots and we can grab that switchable/stretch big with one of those picks and swing for the fences with the other.

We just don't have the depth. And we're not going to be able to get it if we're going to make trades for stars.

We're among the worst 3pt shooting teams in the league...

So we'll probably be Milwaukee at best. But we definitely don't have a Giannis on the roster. Camara is awesome, but he's got a long way to go before he's a Jrue Holiday...

Yeah, I agree we don't have enough. The players and assets teams want from us are the ones we need to keep. We are between a rock and a hard place. I guess we just have to hope #7 and #11 picks pan out.

The Kuminga bashing didn't age well...

Yet another productive game for him. He's helped his stock in these playoffs.

Yeah once we had a bunch of wins during the season seemed like this was the likely outcome. I was fine with trying to make the playin at that point.

Hell Dallas was one win from the playoffs but ended up getting #1 overall. Sure seems like a waste to have thrown some of the games we did as when we sat Deni and Sharpe in a very winnable game.

Honestly not sure if I prefer keeping #11 or just ending our debt to Chicago. I guess the #11 is worth more but I like the idea of fully guaranteeing that 2028 Milwaukee swap. If were able to end that Chicago pick debt the next drafts in 2026 or 2027 we'll get that.

I guess so... But I think not a coincidence his best games have been when his team gets killed. There's a reason Kerr buried him on the bench as they looked great later in the year.

I mean obviously main issue for warriors is no Curry. I'm just not sure how much Kuminga contributes to a team winning.

That said Id love to add him for the MLE

However you pay him the 20-30+ million per year he wants and that might end up as a negative value contract stuck on your roster.

He's far from a perfect player, but he can be very efficient. A great athlete. Kerr can have all his reasons, doesn't mean they are correct. Kuminga needs to find another team because Kerr has never given him a fair shake. Brooklyn would pay him 25 mil a year.

No real word yet on Jayson Tatum? Wondering what the injury is?

that Tatum injury didn't look good (as if any injury does). Yeah, it reminded me of the way Wesley Matthews went down

They just announced he had surgery for a torn achilles. That's what I thought it looked like. Bummer.
