Wow… Barring some kind of miracle it looks like we will have Tottenham vs M.United in the Europa League Final. Winner secures a place in the Champions league next year. It’s the only hope at European League soccer next year for both clubs (Europa League winner automatically qualifies for Champions League).

Going to be a lot at stake for both EPL clubs in that one.

And congrats Rasta. Was a bit stressful there for a while. Crazy that Burnley gets 100 points and doesn’t finish top of the table.

Luton relegated from championship, right? First club in history to be relegated from the EPL and Championship in consecutive seasons.

 

Easy to focus on that kid because he won’t be in his prime for THIRTEEN YEARS FAMS!

 

So set me straight, it looks like Luton Town….the tiny team who made it to the EPL last season is heading down to the 3rd tier now? They are the complete opposite of Wrexham?
Did they just not use the influx of the mass amount of money for making the EPL wisely, or is that distributed over years to come?

 

AND went undefeated in, what, 32 straight games?
And despite getting the most points that any Leeds team has ever got in the Championship, all the talk about Farke is that he'll be sacked. People thought this was more-or-less confirmed by his stoic reaction to the victory.

 

Southampton getting a point in a 0-0 draw vs Manchester City avoiding being the worst team in premier league history.

So you soccer fans on here are pretty useless. When I ask a question, I demand answers.

 

Nobody has answered because nobody really cares about Luton. Team revenue would be generated from a season in the EPL, not from a promotion, so they didn’t really have a massive influx of cash just from promotion, and they lost it by being relegated; just as they will lose increased revenue from the championship now that they are in league 1.

I honestly don’t even know what their transfer history is, but they were in no means able to compete with other EPL clubs as far as their ability to get players.
