<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Eagles | Davis does not say much about visit; switches agentsTue, 22 Aug 2006 05:34:34 -0700Reuben Frank, of phillyburbs.com, reports free agent RB Stephen Davis (Panthers) was a guest on the Brian Mitchell radio show on WTEM in Washington, D.C. Monday, Aug. 21, right after he visited with the Philadelphia Eagles. Speaking with his former Redskins' teammate, Davis said little about his visit with the Eagles and didn't sound like someone about to sign with a new team. Had Davis been encouraged by yesterday's visit with the Eagles, you would think he would have expressed that while speaking with Mitchell. An odd twist to this story involves Davis's revolving cast of agents. A few years back, Davis signed with agent David Canter. Early yesterday afternoon, Canter in a phone interview identified himself as Davis' agent but said he couldn't comment on talks with the Eagles because Davis wasn't yet finished with his workout. Later in the day, Canter said he was no longer Davis' agent. Davis reportedly is now represented by Christina Phillips.</div>http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nflI doubt he will go to the Eagles simply because they are very stingy when it comes to aquiring new players--they usually aren't all that willing to sacrifice much for a new player, even though they might need one. In this case, they DO need a powerful runningback that can take a handoff inside, unlike Westbrook, who is ideal for outside runs. Remember how well Dorsey Levens did with the Eagles? Duce Staley?

That reason being is that he was content on retireing all offseason and I think he knows that he doesnt have enough left in the Tank for one last time.
