Denver, Milwaukee, Toronto - now OKC... That's more small markets than big that would be recent winners.

Or is this now part of the conspiracy too - the NBA wants a dozen small markets to win just to throw everyone off to their true devious intentions?

If those teams were better, then they would have beat Minny without their best guy. But they weren’t so they didn’t.

Which playoffs didn't have a bunch of stars injured the last 5 years?

I swear it happens every year.

Then also when a team lose there's a bunch of reports that come out hours later of all the massive injuries they had. Who knows maybe the Wolves have 5 massive injuries they'll list if the get beat too.

ESPN homie. They seem to think it adds to the coverage. Hate it!

Yeah all of this shit takes a lot of luck and stuff breaking or more often not breaking the right way. The last time we were truly contenders was probably 25 years ago. We're going to have to be really lucky just to get a roster together that can contend and then you have to get lucky on your playoff run (mostly with injuries) to actually have a shot at winning it all.

He looked straight over at Reggie and did it as an homage. I hate Halliburton and fucking loved it! He would have done it to Spike, but he wasn’t in the house! Great shit!

Some teams come into the playoffs absolutely haggard, like a car with bald tires and a smoking engine, because they pushed too hard in the regular season to get there. Then they get bodied by a team that ran a bit less hot to get to the same place. You can’t rely on old man LeBron to get you through a playoff series anymore. It’s not a knock against Minnesota that they took care of business against them.

Yeah I normally can't stand Halliburton's bullshit antics but this was a great homage to the Pacers' history and their greatest player in team history.

Shaedon would be so much better because he's so soft spoken that it would have way more impact than a guy like Halliburton who is so demonstrative. Scoot would be cool too and much more likely to do it. I'm hoping Ant's time playing for our team is over... like the guy a lot but think he's probably better elsewhere and hopefully we can get some better fitting pieces for him.

To make bad joke, Timberwolves are slinking off with collective tails between legs. Not just losing, looking totally discombobulated.

Don't have strong feelings about East match up. Other things being equal I root for underdog but I have some ties to New York and none to Indiana. Also Indiana voted for Trump and elected Pence governor. Just glad game was exciting and hope that continues.

    That is funny but true.

Clippers now look way better off losing Paul George for "nothing" - meanwhile Philly is much worse off being stuck with him.
