We’ve learned nothing from the last 5-10 years with believing the media

So what is the truth here? You say the reporting is false, which I'm certainly willing to consider.

But to do so, it would be helpful to have something more than 'that's Fake News'.

I am far more likely to believe responsible media over the health insurance industry.

The Dept of Justice investigated this. Thoroughly, as the DOJ does, and dropped it.

You're not familiar with the way media and the news skews, exaggerates and flat out makes things up to fit an agenda?

“The US Dept of Justice investigated these allegations, interviewed witnesses, and obtained thousands of documents that demonstrated the significant factual inaccuracies in the allegations. After reviewing the evidence during its multi-year investigation, the Department of Justice declined to pursue the matter”

so…they didn’t “drop it” they never even pursued it.

That’s a different issue. I’m referring to your post about the nursing home business. The article just came out that you posted, but it has been investigated at length and they didn’t pursue it. But hey! It got a lot of clicks today. The link above from 2/21/25, is about their Medicare Advantage business (and I’m sure all MA businesses from other organizations). It’s also hard to understand because it claims it costs people billions more than traditional Medicare. But anyone who has Medicare probably knows that straight Medicare is pretty bare bones coverage. MA plans offer additional benefits which yes, costs money. I would love it if Medicare was 1) better - more benefits and coverage 2) so we wouldn’t need MA plans and 3) offered to EVERYONE not just 65+.
