    I know nothing about baseball. Except that Bud wouldn't even play 9 guys in a baseball game.

    So Beavers play 5pm Friday. I'll start watching these.

    So as 8th seed Beavers will host a super regional if they advance. Huge benefit getting seeded at #8 as opposed to #9 or #12

    Yeah Beavs still need to get through a field of 4 teams to host a super regional.

    Still its a huge advantage having a path to the CWS that goes entirely through Corvallis.

    Whatever happened to that pitcher who was a child molester or something? Did he ever go to the Majors?

    Luke Heimlich... he wasn't picked in the MLB draft in 2018 - played in Mexico the next year then retired a year or two later.

    He did. He was being talked about being taken in the first couple rounds until that story broke because he forgot to register/check in on time or something. Otherwise, it was supposed to be sealed.
