I know nothing about baseball. Except that Bud wouldn't even play 9 guys in a baseball game.

So Beavers play 5pm Friday. I'll start watching these.

So as 8th seed Beavers will host a super regional if they advance. Huge benefit getting seeded at #8 as opposed to #9 or #12

Oh, you mean getting the 8th seed is better than whatever seed the Ducks got right?

Yeah Beavs still need to get through a field of 4 teams to host a super regional.

Still its a huge advantage having a path to the CWS that goes entirely through Corvallis.

Whatever happened to that pitcher who was a child molester or something? Did he ever go to the Majors?

Luke Heimlich... he wasn't picked in the MLB draft in 2018 - played in Mexico the next year then retired a year or two later.

He did. He was being talked about being taken in the first couple rounds until that story broke because he forgot to register/check in on time or something. Otherwise, it was supposed to be sealed.

Thought the Beavs left Segura in way too long in the first. After the 2nd hit batter and a walk it was obvious he had zero control. 2 runs were Segura fault but run 3 was Beavs coaches fault.

Great hit and then 2 run homer to get the game within a run.

    Go Beavs!

Mariners lost too, giving up 9 runs in the ninth and tenth innings, combined. I am not having a good time.
