    You are absolutely right. And unfortunately, we aren't anywhere close to winning again. Probably won't see a championship in my lifetime.

    I think I am correct on this but I can be fact checked. Only two teams in the finals lost the first two away games and won the next four straight. The 1977 blazers and 2021 Bucks. 28 in 1977 I thought I would see more championships with Walton and others thru the years. I knew how good Walton was having attended U C L A seeing him and Alcindor. Odds not good for me ever to see another world championship in Portland.
