But when your WR depth chart reads: Reche Caldwell, Troy Brown, Chad Jackson, Brandon Childress, Mike McGrew, and Eric Davis... Oh boy. Total combined catches last year? 70. Branch had 78 by himself. Ouch.Leads to a better question. Does this leave the door wide open for the Dolphins to take the AFC East division?[/quote]Leaves the door open for the Jets to sneak by and take it at 9-7. Why do people think the Dolphins are over-rated? The Dolphins are certainly better than the Jets... The Dolphins certainly have a better offense and as good if not better defense than the Jets.

We have 1 on defense and that's it and 3 on offense. That's not great, but most teams have 4 holes.

And Jets have a FAR better Special teams unit. (1/3 of the game).

Do people often refer to you as a "homer"? If so, you may be in denial about your team.Often you take an unreasonable approach to defending your team and ignore the facts; your team sucks balls.Unfortunately, the only cure is found after the season is over, when the team has performed under expectations of the "homer" and is forced to consider, "next year". This disease is very common among Chicaco Cubs fans. However, I will try and "cure" the disease before the end of the season, to lessen the hurt.FACT: The Jets offense will be among the worst in the NFLFACT: The Jets need to upgrade their cornerbacks, D-line, and the right side of the O-line, and pray that Mangold and D'Brickashaw are as good as advertisedFACT: The Jets do not have a far better special teams than anyone in the league.FACT: 10 wins isnt going to be enough to get in the playoffsFACT: The Jets have 8 winnable games. But on top of those 8 winnable games, they have to beat the Dolphins and Patriots 3/4 times. Thats the way they are going to get into the playoffs.FACT: This is not going to be their year. Too many questions on offense. The defense is not good enough to carry the team.

Throw in a fluke loss to another team somewhere along the way and that's 9-7.
