The Nets have a ridiculous 4 first round picks and a high second-rounder. Imagine you're the GM and you're instructed to use all of them. Who are the players you could realistically end up with? at 8: at 19: at 26: at 27: at 36: You could make an entire starting 5, if you're good. If you want to use a reputable mock draft to check that somebody would be available at that pick, feel free. Now you've done that, ask yourself: would you trade our #11 for the 4 Nets picks below it?
wouldn't be surprised i Brooklyn uses only 1 or 2 of those picks and the rest try to punt forward into future picks. Who knows though because they potentially have 80-90M in cap-space. They could actually arrange for the 8th pick for #3 and Paul George. Do it after July 1 and they can just absorb PG12's salary. Giant pill to swallow though
Back when I lived in Sac, the Kings one year had 4 first round picks (mid '90s). It was unprecedented at the time. We were super excited. But in the end, only 1 or 2 ended up having any impact at all.
#8 Bryant #19 Coward (probably not realistic). Clifford is plan B #26 Clayton #27 Niederhauser #36 Peavy - My sleeper for this draft. Does it all at 6'8". Handles well in p&r. Very good pull up mid-range shot. Good 3pt shot. Creates for himself and others, equally. Reportedly, best aspect of his game is defense. I get McNeeley vibes, but 20 picks later. I expect he'll go to OKC and sit for a year or Memphis (they seem to find contributors in the second round a lot) and contribute right away. I wasn't necessarily trying to build a starting 5, but I think our second unit has a lot of holes.
Any interest in starting a separate, undrafted invitee thread? Doesn't happen too often that one contributes, much less sticks on a roster. I think the roster is in a state where it could happen here. Not wanting to hijack the thread, but I don't want to start a new one if it's a dumb idea.
8: Collin Murray-Boyles 19: If available Nique Clifford, otherwise Jase Richardson, otherwise Nolan Traore 26: Hugo Gonzalez 27: Joan Beringer 36: Markovic/Toohey

But in the previous 4 drafts he made at least 22 selections and that doesn't count all the cross-deals he made. He had 7 first round picks in his first 2 drafts
That team was so fun to watch - Lionel Simmons left right before the revival - C Webb, Jason Williams, Peja, Vlade...
Imagine that you're Brooklyn It's easy if you try With four first round draft picks The limit is the sky Sorry. Couldn't resist.
Without even looking, I'm going to guess that every one of us did a better draft than Brooklyn's actual draft. But for shits and giggles I'm going to do a draft of whom I think was the BPA at each pick in the real draft: 8. Collin Murray-Boyles 19. Nique Clifford/Jase Richardson/Asa Newell 26, 27 two out of Liam McNeeley, Noa Penda, Hugo Gonzalez, Ryan Kalkbrenner 36. Kam Jones/Brooks Barnhizer What I said then:
