Team: New York GiantsFantasy DraftedPick: 14thI would love feedback on what Im doing. Let me know.RULES:no more than 7 rookies total, only 2 rookie starters (* denotes rookie)One Midseason trade allowedMidseason FA pickups not allowed unless required due to injuryPlaying on All-Madden, 10 minute quarters with accel. clockONE traininig camp drill allowed per seasonDraft:1:QB Michael Vick 91 - took a chance here...im hoping i can harness his running ability and turn him in to a better passer.2: DE Osi Umienorya 91 - I was happy to bring Osi back to NY. Young, fast pass rusher. yum.3: WR Larry Fitzgerald 93 - what better way to help Vick than to pair him with a great young WR?4: CBDunta Robinson 90 - Lots of good WRs in this league. I got my cover corner right here.5: MLB Jonathan Vilma 92 - I had to. Hes my man.6: LT Marvel Smith 89 - Good experienced LT to protect my QB.7: SS Gibril Wilson 87 - Another ex-giant who Im bringing back, good intimidator in my secondary.8: *HB Reggie Bush 87 - I really didn't want to. I was planning to take Willie Parker here, but Bush dropped to me.9: DT Rocky Bernard 87 - Good big man to fill up my Dline.10: RT George Foster 86 - Good partner with Smith to give me two solid tackles.11: *TE Vernon Davis 86 - Again, he fell in to my lap. I was browsing the positions and raelized i needed a TE. and voila.12: DE Erasmus James 86 - Good young end to pair with Osi to give me a scary duo in terms of speed at end.13: OLB Thomas Davis 85 - Young LB, with speed who was moved from safety. We know he can cover well. Almost got AJ Hawk before i realized i had reached my rookie limit.14: CB Justin Miller 84 - He gets really good. really fast. I love my CB speed in Robinson and Miller.15: WR Troy Williamson 83 - Blazing speed. Match with Vicks arm!16: RG Justin Smiley 82 - realized i had totally ignored my guard situation! oh no.17: FS Chris Crocker 83 - solid guy with speed here. Might look to upgrade in a few years.18: DT Mike Patterson 85 - Good big man, young and will improve with time.19: C Russ Hochstein 82 - Not so happy with this, was looking for a little higher in C, but ill improve.20: OLB Rocky Calmus 82 - Experienced guy to help Davis along. Very steady.21: K Mike Nugent 81 - Young. Will improve.22: FB Brad Hoover 80 - Neglected my FB position. Got lucky here because after Hoover, there was nothing.23: LG Matt Stinchcomb 80 - Again, forgot about guards. Ill get some help over the offseason.24: P Andy Lee 77 - punter ratings don't matter. Its all about stick control.25: QB Trent Dilfer 81 - PERFECT #2 QB to help Vick along.26: RB BRandon Jacobs 79 - Good power back to complement Bushs speed.27: *CB Kelly Jennings 7928: MLB Clint Kriewaldt 7829: SS Tebucky Jones 7830: T Adam Snyder 7831: DE Mark Word 7832: TE Rickey Dudley 7733: WR Cedrick Wilson 7734: *FS Danieal Manning 7635: OLB Jeff Gooch 7536: G Rob Sims 7537: T Jason Mathews 7438: *DT John McCargo 7539: QB Tony Romo 7540: *C Jason Spitz 7441: OLB Pat Thomas 7342: WR Vincent Jackson 7443: DE Kenyon Coleman 7344: CB DeMarcus Faggins 7345: HB/KR Chad Morton 7346: G Brian Rimpf 6847: WR Devery Henderson 7348: CB Stanley Wilson 7249: TE Cameron Cleeland 71I thought i had 7 rookies, so i didnt draft Devin Hester in the 48th round, will try to trade for him now.OVERALL: Very happy. I like my defensew ith playmakers at every level (Osi/Vilma/Dunta). We have a lot of speed, especially at LB. My offense could score a lot of points this year. It all depends on the oline.UPDATE: Traded CB Stanley Wilson, HB Chad Morton and a 5th round pick for Devin Hester.Added HB Avion Cason with a 2 year deal. The New York Giants are happy to add CB Devin Hester to our CB and KR crew. Even though we have Bush to return kicks, we'd prefer not to expose him to injury. We will be starting Hester at both return spots.Giants Update:The New York Giants announced today that they have named their team captains. Congratulations to QB Michael Vick, WR Larry Fitzgerald and MLB Jonathan Vilma. Many players told various coaches they were happy with the appointments. A good move by the Giants organization.Training Camp update: Giants put Michael Vick through the Pocket Awareness drill. He gained three points, which were added to his awareness rating, bringing it to 80 overall.Preseason Update: (SIMMED)Well, it was a disappointing preseason for the Giants. They went 1-3, with the defense not performing well. We gave up as many as 31 points in the games!! Not happy. Adding to the disappointment, rookie RB Reggie Bush is out for 2 weeks with a hip pointer. He has been quoted as saying that it is frustrating that he starts his career with an injury. Other injuries: veteran reserve Tackle Jason Mathews is out for 1 week with a sprained elbow. WR Devery Henderson is out 9 weeks with a dislocated knee.Player Progression:DE Erasmus James overall went from 86 to 85DE Kenyon Coleman overall went from 73 to 72DE Osi Umienorya went from 91 to 90DT Mike Patterson overall went from 85 to 84LOLB Rocky Calmus went from 82 to 81LOLB Pat Thomas went from 73 to 72MLB Jonathan Vilma went from 92 to 91ROLB Thomas Davis went from 85 to 84.CB Kelly Jennings went from 79 to 78KR Devin Hester went from 73 to 72FS Chris Crocker went from 83 to 82SS Gibril Wilson went from 87 to 86Week #1 - Vs. Indy coltsL 31-24In a heartbreaker, the New York Giants lost to the Colts today. After taking an early lead 7-0 on a Vernon Davis TD reception, the Giants gave up 31 points entering the 4th quarter down 31-10. The Giants had a successful drive capped off by a Brandon Jacobs TD catch. On the ensuing drive, the Colts managed to take 4 minutes off the clock but did not score. On the first play of the Giants ensuing drive, Michael Vick hooked up with Troy Williamson for a 80 yard TD to make it a one score game with 2 and 1/2 minutes left. The Giants kicked off and the Colts started their drive with the intention of burying the Giants, but Jonathan Vilma would not let it happen. Forcing a 3-and-out with 2 tackles on RB Stephan Jackson, the Giants got the ball back with 1:45 to play, 1 timeout and down by 1 score. The drive was going well, highlighted by 2 Michael Vick first down runs on 3rd down. Then a bad case of the dropsies. After a 1st down sack on the Colt 25, Vick had Williamson timed perfectly for a first down curl, but unbelievably, Troy dropped it. On the next play, Vick tried to hit #1 WR Larry Fitzgerald but he too dropped a sure first down pass. A desperation heave on 4th down fell incomplete, and the Colts ran out the clock. Vick said afterward that he loved how the offense came together for the final 3 drives, but he was admittedly "frustrated with the WR play." Coach Tom Coughlin agreed, adding "we need Fitz (WR Larry Fitzgerald) and Troy (Williamson) to step up more than that."NOTE: FS Chris Crocker is out for 6 weeks, rookie Danieal Manning will start in his place. Vernon Davis was knocked out of the game in the 3rd quarter, did not return but is fine for week 2.Week 2:NY Giants V. Philly Eagles16-14A very close game, the Eagles started off the scoring with a Julius Jones 1 yard TD run in the beginning of the 2nd quarter. The Giants quickly answered with a Mike Nugent field Goal and a Larry Fitzgerald TD Catch. They went in to the break with a 10-7 lead. Mike Nugent added to the lead with another field goal. Then, in the early 4th quarter, Vick threw an interception to Antonio Pierce which he returned for a TD. But the Giants were able to win the game with another Nugent FG with 22 seconds left.Passing:Michael Vick 21/33 190 yards, 1 TD 3 INTRushing:Brandon Jacobs 31 rushes 99 yardsMichael Vick 9 rushes 91 yardsRecieving:Larry Fitzgerald 7 REC 102 yards 1 TDVernon Davis 4 REC 27 yardsDefense:Jonathan Vilma 6 tackles 1 sackRocky Calmus 6 tackles 1 INTOsi Umienorya 3 tackles 1 sack 1 FFErasmus James 1 tackle 2 sacksDunta Robinson 1 tackle 1 INTJustin Miller 1 INTINJURY NOTE: Michael Vick is out 1 week with a pinched nerve. Janikowski added another FG to take the lead but a TD run by FB Brad Hoover gave the Giants a lead, 17-13. They would add a TD REC by Larry Fitzgerald. the Skins would get a consolation TD, but the Giants pull it out 24-19.Passing:Michael Vick 13/21 124 yards 1 TDRushing:Reggie Bush 26 att for 99 yards 1 FUMMichael Vick 10 att for 135 yards, 1 TDBrad Hoover 2 att 3 yards 1 TDRecieving:Larry Fitzgerald 5 REC 57 yards 1 TDTroy Williamson 3 REC 33 yardsDefense:Jonathan Vilma 10 tacklesOsi Umienorya 3 tackles 2 sacks 1 FFErasmus James 2 tackles 1 sackKelly Jennings 2 tackles 1 INTNEWSFLASH - The New York Giants have upgraded their Guard position, trading LG Matt Stinchcomb, WR Cedrick Wilson and a 4th rounder for Guard Eric Heitmann from the Chicago Bears. Week 10VS. Chicago BearsW 33-18A nice strong win for the franchise. It was a field goal fest early on with the score coming to 6-6 after 2 FGs a piece. Then the Giants struck quickly, with a Michael Vick-to-Troy Williamson 75-yard score, because of a opening in the Bears zone defense. The Giants would add another TD with a Vernon Davis TD REC of 11 yards. Chicago would knock in a Field Goal as the half expired, but the Giants would enter the break with a 20-9 lead. But it was not over. AFter another FG, the Bears made it a 2 point game with a Nathan Vasher INT return for a TD. But on the crucial 2Pt conversion attempt, MLB Jonathan Vilma made a huge stop to keep it a 2 point game. The Giants would put the game away with 2 more Mike Nugent Field Goals and another Vernon Davis TD catch, this one for 33 yards. After the game, Head Coach Tom Coughlin said that "he was pleased with how his team responded to the adversity," and he especially loved "the shutdown defense performed today after the break."A solid win for the Giants, bringing their record to 5-4.Passing:Michael Vick 14/23 248 yards 3 TD 3 INTRushing:Brandon Jacobs 18 att 73 yardsReggie Bush 10 att 32 yardsRecieving:Vernon Davis 6 REC 95 yards 2 TDTroy Williamson 2 REC 96 yards 1 TDDefensive:Jonathan Vilma 9 tackles 1 INTGibril Wilson 9 tackles 1 FFJustin Miller 7 tackles 1 sackChris Crocker 4 tackles 1 INTKelly Jennings 3 tackles 1 FFErasmus James 2 tackles 1 sackBoth Chris Crocker and Devery Henderson are completely healthy and the Giants are happy to report that their injury report is completely empty.

Week 11MNF AT Jacksonville JaguarsW 38-24Great win on national TV for the Giants. The Horse Trailer Player was Michael Vick. hahah i went through all my offensive formations and predominantly rushing ones i put in Jacobs, because Bush canth andle 40 rushes a game. Its been working, Bush is getting less rushes but a good amount of catches per game so he still is constantly touches the ball. I run so many screens its not even funny.

Week 13VS Dallas CowboysW 33-17And the streak reaches 6! Improving to 8-4 and taking a stranglehold of the division, The New York Football Giants beat the Cowboys today. In a game dominated by running, Michael Vick had a terrible performance but was saved by Matrix Light, AKA Reggie Bush. Week 15 VS Philadelphia EaglesW 13-10The streak hit 8 as the giants beat the now 3-11 Eagles to pretty much secure the NFC East Divisional Title. In a low scoring game, the Giants only needed a Vick-Vincent Jackson TD connection and a Mike Nugent field goal to force overtime, where another Nugent FG won the game. Week 17VS Washington RedskinsL 14-24The streak is over. In a game that looked meaningless, but was important to decide homefield advantage, the Giants lost to the lowly Skins. They went from 2nd in NFC, to 3rd, so they will not have homefield advantage. It was a 3way tie for the top spot in the NFC and it went by divsional record.Passing: Michael Vick 13/27 102 yardsRushing:Reggie Bush 20 att 92 yards 1 TDMichael Vick 6 att 46 yards 1 FUMRecieving:Larry Fitzgerald 6 REC 61 yardsVernon Davis 3 REC 8 yardsDefensive:Jonathan Vilma 11 tackles 1 FUM REC, 1 DEFENSIVE TDRocky Calmus 7 tackles 1 FFOsi Umienorya 4 tackles 2 sack 1 FFDunta Robinson 2 tackles 1 INTJustin Miller 1 tackle 1 FFKenyon Coleman 1 sackPROGRESSION:Reggie Bush 87 to 88Brad Hoover 83 to 84Marvel Smith 91 to 92Eric Heitmann 86 to 88Justin Smiley 85 to 87Greg Foster 87 to 88Erasmus James 87 to 88Osi Umienorya 91 to 92Jonathan Vilma 93 to 94Justin Miller 86 to 87Kelly Jennings 78 to 79Gibril Wilson 86 to 87Mike Nugent 83 to 85Andy Lee 78 to 80The Giants finished 11-5, winning the NFC East, and will play the 10-6 Atlanta Falcons in the Wild Card Round.END OF SEASON STATS:Passing:Michael Vick - 74.7 rating, 54% completion percentage, 2,765 yards, 21 TDs, 16 INTsRushing:Reggie Bush - 1,085 yards, 8 TD, 4.4 AvgMichael Vick - 1,002 yards, 6 TD, 10.3 AvgBrandon Jacobs - 424 yards, 3 TD, 3.4 AvgRecieving:Vernon Davis - 62 REC, 725 yards, 11.6 Avg, 5 TDLarry Fitzgerald - 58 REC, 707 yards, 12.1 Avg, 9 TDReggie Bush - 44 REC 441 yards, 10 Avg, 1 TDTroy Williamson - 42 REC, 605 yards, 14.4 Avg, 3 TDDefensive:Jonathan Vilma - 156 tackles(21 for a loss), 7 sacks, 1 INT, 3 FF, 5 FRec, 1 DEFTD :beerbang2: Rocky Calmus - 78 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 INT, 4 FF, 2 FRec, 1 DEFTDGibril Wilson - 74 tackles, 1 sack, 3 INT, 2 FF, 1 FRecThomas Davis - 70 tackles, 5 sack, 3 INT, 1 FFJustin Miller - 47 tackles, 1 sack, 3 INT, 1 FF, 2 FRecErasmus James - 31 tackles, 17 sacksOsi Umienorya - 28 tackles, 11 sacksDunta Robinson - 25 tackles, 6 INTKelly Jennings - 25 tackles, 3 INT, 1 DEFTDOPOY (Giants): Reggie BushDPOY (Giants): Jonathan Vilma
