Here's another big thing to watch. This beavers baseball team is full of Freshman and Sophomores in their pitching corp and Throughout the rest of the team. Obviously they are losing Aiva but this team pretty much comes back next year.
Pete Thamel of ESPN saying Texas State is the heavy favorites to be the 8th member. That there is a deadline of July 1st since their exit fees double from 5 to 10 million.
Wow super exciting, news should drop in the next few weeks. I'm also reading chatter about UTSA joining. Maybe they would soon or maybe they would a little later. But that would help the Pac a ton having two Texas schools. Maybe they'd scheduled those road games together as the schools are less than an hour apart. They already have a nice rivalry with each other too. Not sure when Cal/Stanford can renegotiate - but speculation they'll consider rejoining when able to. Really remarkable the Pac could be where it is today after how horrific and depressing the outlook was ~18 months ago.

Texas State buyout jumps from 5 million to 10 million on July 1st. Sounds like we might get an announcement of them joining the Pac in the next 9 days.
Was a good game. Coastal gave up 1 run in the 1st but otherwise had a defensive shutout. LSU pitcher did have a complete game shutout. Can't play any better in a loss than giving up 1 run. Well I suppose they could bat better. Todays game is I believe 2:30ET
CBS Sports and Pac-12 extend partnership through the 2030-31 season That seems like a small victory. Hopefully Texas State announces soon and we can keep some momentum going.
