    Platform : PS2Mode : All MaddenGame Length : 5 minutesPreseason : SimmedRules: Can only pick up 1 FA midseason if a player goes down with an injury then I'm allowed to sign a FA to replace him. The only trades that can be made is if I put someone on trade block.<div align="center">[IMG]</div>A new coach has taken over the head coach spot for the bears, his name is Pat Lewis. A former Miami Hurricane coach who coached many great defenses. He thought alot of players in college, players like Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, but now he's taking his coaching career to another level. Now Pat Lewis has the chance of the lifetime, his first time ever coaching an NFL team and he has a great team given to him. Can Pat take the bears all the way this season?<div align="center"><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%">Bears Depth Chart</span></div>Quarterbacks:Rex Grossman - 85Brian Griese - 81Kyle Orton - 75Running Backs:Thomas Jones - 88Cedric Benson - 84Adrian Peterson - 77Fullbacks:Bryan Johnson - 85Jason McKie - 75Wide Recievers:Muhsin Muhammad - 89Mark Bradley - 80Bernard Berrian - 75Freddie Mitchell - 74Rashied Davis - 66Tight Ends:Desmond Clark - 77John Gilmore - 59Offensive Line Starters:LT - John Tait - 90LG - Ruben Brown - 87C - Olin Kreutz - 98RG - Roberto Garza - 82RT - Fred Miller(Out for two weeks)/John St. Clair - 75Defensive Line Starters:LE - Adewale Ogunleye - 91RE - Alex Brown - 88DT - Tommie Harris - 91DT - Ian Scott - 84Left Outside Linebacker:Todd Johnson - 74Hunter Hillenmeyer - 79Inside/Middle Linebacker:Brian Urlacher - 98Jeremy Cain - 61Right Outside Linebacker:Lance Briggs - 91Leon Joe - 65Cornerbacks:Nathan Vasher - 90Ricky Manning - 86Charles Tillman - 88Devin Hester - 73Alfonso Marshall - 64Free Safety:Danieal Manning - 76Chris Harris - 80Strong Safety:Mike Brown - 89Joseph Jefferson - 71Kicker:Robbie Gould - 75Punter:Brad Maynard - 87Coach Lewis annouced that none of these starting spots are guaranteed.<div align="center"><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%">Stats(Top 5)</span></div>Passing:Rex Grossman: 50 for 104, 630 yards, 2 TDs, and 5 INTsBrian Griese: 1 for 2, 73 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INTRushing:Thomas Jones: 87 carries for 311 yards, 2 TDs and a 3.5 AVGRex Grossman: 17 carries for 81 yards and a 4.7 AVGCedric Benson: 7 carries for 23 yards, 1 TD, and a 3.2 AVGReceiving:Muhsin Muhammad: 13 receptions for 220 yards, 2 TDs and a 16.9 AVGThomas Jones: 13 receptions for 121 yards,1 TD, and a 9.3 AVGMark Bradley: 10 receptions for 180 yards, 18.0 AVGDesmond Clark: 5 receptions for 121 yards, 24.1 AVGFreddie Mitchell: 5 receptions for 26 yards, 5.1 AVGTackles:Brian Urlacher: 21 tacklesLance Briggs: 16 tacklesDaniel Manning: 16 tacklesRicky Manning: 14 tacklesAlex Brown: 13 tacklesSacks:Alex Brown: 4 sacksAdewale Ogunleye: 2 sacksBrian Urlacher: 1 sackMike Brown: 1 sackINTs:Alex Brown: 1 INTTodd Johnson: 1 INTLance Briggs: 1 INTBrian Urlacher: 1 INTRicky Manning: 1 INT<div align="center"><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%">Standings</span></div><div align="center">Packers - 3-1-0Vikings - 3-1-0Lions - 2-2-0Bears - 2-2-0</div>

Todd Johnson was also asked to bulk up a little and has gained about 15 pounds.<div align="center">[IMG]</div>The Bears have signed former eagles receiver, Freddie Mitchell, to a 2 year, 3.30 million dollar deal. <div align="center"><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%">Bears - 10 vs Packers - 27</span></div>In the 1st half, the offense couldn't do anything. The score was 17-3 by the end of the first half. Nathan Vasher gave up two TDs in the game, which was embarssasing since he was labeled as a "shut down" corner. Ricky Manning also gave up a crucial TD late in the 3rd quarter. This game was ugly, but hopefully the Bears can pick it up next game.Key Stats:Rex Grossman: 18 for 34, 142 yards, 63.6 QB RatingThomas Jones: 20 carries for 62 yards, 3.0 AVG and 5 receptions for 21 yardsCedric Benson: 1 carry for 3 yards, 1 TDMark Bradley: 4 receptions for 43 yardsDesmond Clark: 2 receptions for 39 yardsBrian Urlacher: 9 tackles, 1 sack, 1 pass defl<span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Bears Player of the Game</div></span><div align="center">[IMG]</div><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Brian Urlacher</div></span>Brian Urlacher was the player of the game for the Bears, he made all his tackles. Didn't allow any big runs down the middle and he also did great in coverage.

<span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Bears - 6 vs Lions - 16</div></span>You know when you lose the Lions, your season is over. This game wasn't as bad as last game, but once again the Bears offense couldn't score. Mark Bradley dropped three third down passes and one pass deep that would have went for the TD. On defense, Ricky Manning allowed the only TD by missing a tackle on a hook. If things don't change by next game, players will be losing their starting jobs.Key Stats:Rex Grossman: 13 for 30, 103 yards, 3 INTsThomas Jones: 19 carries for 98 yards, 5.1 AVGMuhsin Muhammad: 4 receptions for 37 yardsMark Bradley: 3 receptions for 30 yardsBrian Urlacher: 6 tackles, 1 FF<span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Bears Player of the Game</div></span><div align="center">[IMG]</div><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Thomas Jones</div></span>The only brightside in our offense today. Was explosive and hard to tackle the whole game. Unfortunately, since the Bears were down the whole game he couldn't carry the rock more and score.

<span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Bears - 20 vs Vikings - 14</div></span>I guess the players listened to Pat Lewis and gave it their all. The offense finally showed up for once and the defense we saw last year also showed up. The defense forced 3 INTs, 5 sacks, and 1 FF. Very impressive game, hopefully the Bears can play like this the whole season. Nathan Vasher also had an INT at the end of the game, but Lance Briggs was called for a roughing the passer, which was a BS call.Key Stats:Rex Grossman: 10 for 15, 230 yardsThomas Jones: 28 for 70 yards, 2 TD, and a 2.5 AVG and 3 receptions for 24 yardsMuhsin Muhammad: 2 receptions for 58 yardsDesmond Clark: 1 reception for 63 yardsMark Bradley: 2 receptions for 65 yardsAlex Brown: 6 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 INT, and 1 FF<span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Bears Player of the Game</div></span><div align="center">[IMG]</div><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Alex Brown</div></span>An amazing performance by Alex Brown. He had 6 tackles, 3 sacks, a FF, and even an interception from the DE spot. If he keeps it up, he can be the top DE in the league.

<span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Bears - 21 vs Seahawks - 17</div></span>In the 1st half, the Bears shut down the Seahawks offense. By the end of the 1st half, the score as 7-0. Rex Grossman also threw his first TD of the season to Muhsin Muhammad. In the 4th quarter, the score was 14-7 with the Bears up. Rex Grossman made a bad read and it got intercepted by Ken Hamlin, who returned it for a TD. Rex Grossman also got injuried on the drive and ended up being out for the whole game. Brian Griese came in and threw an interception that put seahawks into field goal range. After stopping them on three downs, they kicked a field goal. Score was 17-14. With a minute left, Brian Griese threw it deep to Muhsin Muhammad, who made an amazing catch, for the TD. The game ended with the Bears stopping the seahawks on four downs.Key StatsRex Grossman: 9 for 25, 155 yards, 2 TD and 2 INTsBrian Griese: 1 for 2, 73 yards, 1 TD and 1 INTThomas Jones: 20 carries for 81 yards, 4.0 AVG and 3 receptions for 68 yards, 1 TD, and a 22.6 AVGMuhsin Muhammad: 3 receptions for 103 yards, 2 TDs, and a 34.3 AVGRicky Manning: 6 tackles, 1 INTBrian Urlacher: 3 tackles, 1 INT<span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Bears Player of the Game</div></span><div align="center">[IMG]</div><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Muhsin Muhammad</div></span>Muhsin had his best game of the season today. Ricky Manning has allowed 19 catches in four games which is the most in the NFL and is currently the weakness in our secondary. Pat Lewis likes Ricky Mannings hard hitting, but his coverage isn't good enough.

<span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><div align="center">Bears(2-2) - 31 vs Bills(2-2)-24</div></span>This game wasn't the best game for the Bears, but hey they came out with the win. The secondary was looking bad, giving up a combined total of 12 catches. The running game was pretty much shut down forcing Rex Grossman to scramble. Suprisingly, he was great at scrambling. He also did pretty good passing throwing 2 TDs and 2 INTs. If the Bears secondary improved, they would be the best defense in the league. Currently, the Bears defense is #1 defense in the least rushing yards allowed which was also proved in this game by shutting down Willis McGahee to 26 yards on 16 carries.Key StatsRex Grossman: 17 for 26, 282 yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs, and 10 carries for 71 yards.Thomas Jones: 14 carries for 27 yards, 1 TDMark Bradley: 4 receptions for 121 yards, 1 TDMike Brown: 7 tackles, 1 INTAlex Brown: 5 tackles, 1 sack<div align="center"><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><u>Bears Player of the game</u></span></div><div align="center">[IMG]</div>Besides throwing 2 INTs, Rex looked amazing.
