Tarrio Creates App That Pays You to Snitch on Undocumented Immigrants Tarrio rolls out platform paying users in crypto for tipping off ICE Enrique Tarrio, the former Proud Boys chairman recently freed after a Trump pardon, is now making headlines for his latest move—rolling out a controversial new web app that pays people in cryptocurrency to report undocumented immigrants. The app, ICERAID.US, lets users upload photos and details of suspected undocumented individuals, promising crypto rewards in a token called $RAID. Tarrio, who calls himself the platform’s “czar,” claims it’s all about national security and helping ICE carry out deportations—though the platform isn’t affiliated with the government. In promotional posts, Tarrio says users can earn bonuses through weekly contests and by submitting more photos and locations. He even suggested undocumented immigrants could report themselves and possibly receive a reward, although the app’s fine print admits it has no legal power to grant anyone immigration status. Tarrio was sentenced to 22 years for his role in organizing the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, even though he wasn’t physically in D.C. at the time. Trump granted him a pardon earlier this year. Now, he’s using his platform to encourage private citizens to act as enforcers of immigration law. The app arrives just as the Department of Homeland Security launched its own campaign urging people to report undocumented individuals, complete with vintage-style posters. Immigrant rights groups warn that these initiatives could lead to false reports and harassment, especially in workplaces and neighborhoods. Still, Tarrio seems determined to push ICERAID like it’s the next big thing. On a recent podcast, he even joked that the app is “like Pokémon Go, but for illegal immigrants,” hinting at plans for a tagline similar to “Gotta catch ’em all.” Tarrio’s reemergence is part of a broader legal and political play. Just last week, he and four other Proud Boys filed a $100 million lawsuit against the DOJ and FBI, claiming political persecution in the Jan. 6 prosecutions. Now a free man, Tarrio appears to be building a digital ecosystem for vigilantism—and he’s paying people to participate. https://balleralert.com/profiles/blogs/enrique-tarrio-immigration-app/
Every single American with even a shred of common sense (or who had ever picked strawberries, or has done ANY type of farm labor) knew this. It is hot, hard, dirty work that most Americans don't want to do. It is why our culture has gone so far over the top on overvaluing a college education to the detriment of the actual jobs that feed us and keep our society limping along. And it is more proof (like we needed it) that our so called "leaders" are completely out of touch with the people they purport to lead. I'd bet that most of Trump's administration has never done manual/physical labor in their lives. Yet they can't understand why the average American does not want to do that work and that they are perfectly fine hiring brown people to do the work. By manufacturing a "crisis" that had minimal effect on the majority of Americans, the Right created an even bigger problem that actually WILL affect the majority of Americans. @Strenuus has it 100% correct when he says this is 100% on the idiots who voted for a guy who had already proven himself to be an incompetent moron.......
Theres literally no way you can look at anyone and say "they are undocumented" That's how deep their hate, bigotry, and racism goes. Its fucking wild people cant see this.
I am a college graduate and an urban farmer- term for city dweller who grows a lot of what I eat. I don't need anyone to tell me it's hard work. Just watered my garden. Took an hour and I got soaked. I still need to feed the tomatoes and the roses. Hot weather made lettuces bolt and had to pull them out. No fucking way do I want to spend 8 - 10 hours a day on this.
We still don't know what the end game is in Los Angeles. Dog Killer said the mission is to "liberate" LA and California from our "socialist" government. Does that mean troops will occupy until LA elects a Republican mayor and California a Republican governor? Meanwhile parts of LA are ghost town. It's being compared to Covid. A barber said he had no customers - on a Saturday. A cafe that is normally packed during lunch was empty. People are afraid to leave their homes. And have lost income since they are afraid to work. Maybe simply terrorizing a community and crashing California economy is the point.
I would be willing to quit my job/retirement and do farm work. I'd be bad at it, but if any of you farmers are willing to pay me $1 million/day, I'll give it a go. barfo
Just before shit hit fan I needed railing on my deck and a neighbor suggested a guy who had done work for him. He brought him over and we agreed on when and how much. Check never cashed. If it was lost he could have called me. Possibly he is lying low. Worst case he got snatched by ICE with my check in his possession. With my name and address.
A young student from that well known terrorist nation, Norway, was denied entry and deported. He had come here for vacation. He was grilled on arrival about his political views and forced to hand over his phone password after being told failure to do so could result in 5 years in jail. ICE found a JD Vance meme mocking him and so he could not disembark at the land of the free and home of the brave.
I always thought illegal immigrants had a right to stay in the country, but then the Democrats convinced me “no one is above the law” when they indicted Trump. On that basis, every illegal immigrant’s gotta go.
