Yes. The U.S is under influence of many forces.

"Qatar’s influence has extended into academia, real estate, sports, and even U.S. media—particularly Fox News—mirroring its controversial tactics seen in Israel’s "Qatar-Gate" affair. Documents submitted to the U.S. Department of Justice under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) reveal Qatar’s deep penetration into the American media landscape, particularly targeting conservative outlets."...'Qatar’s goal was clear—to promote favorable narratives about the emirate, known for its complex ties with Hamas and Iran, and position itself as a reliable partner in the eyes of Trump and his administration"..

It is not occupation. It is interests being promoted.
The American people have a choice.
    They can go AIPAC/Qatar/None..
But it is not like people are being held at gunpoint - the persuation is a choice.

I also believe another thing Mark Kelly said.
"The actual damage assessment will take quite a while and someone will have to physically see what is left."

I don't think this is over by any stretch of the imagination.

There are no Trump handlers any more. Only enablers.

Resistance has to come from below.

People who are making this about Trump are making a grave mistake. Kamala was echoing Trump prior to elections about a nuclear Iran. Both parties are bought and paid for. Both parties are failures. Acting like Biden/Kamala didn't enable Israel's belligerence are being dishonest.

Trump went this far and he should be held accountable, but some people here only have a problem with this because Trump is heading it. If a Democrat did they'd be silent.

    Lots of performative outrage.

Why do you want US to be liked? Is that a measurement for something?
You are calling me lost and delusional by not agreeing with me that Americans have a choice?
    Remember Marlboro commercials?
They were banned. But does it mean people could not choose not to buy the ciggarettes?
We can promote any life we see fit (Pro Life / Pro abortion) but people should have the option to choose.
You want Fox news? Go Ahead. You want Al Jazeera - no prob you got it.
But by saying AIPAC promoting a narrative and hence you are all occupied - is plain propaganda and a narrative infusion in itself.

Had a call from an old friend last night who needed to vent about Trump going to war (his wife doesn't want to hear it either). He had just come home from Las Vegas. On the way they stopped at a store outside Creech AFB. The clerk told my friend that normally, 14 Predator drones are based at Creech, but that as of the day before, every single one of them had flown out. Well now we know where they are......welcome to Trump's War.

I think what is becoming clear is that the average Israeli really has no clue what the average American citizen thinks and the average American has no real clue what the average Israeli thinks. We're all being lead by our noses by corrupt and possibly insane "leaders". But you should definitely educate yourself on AIPAC. It ain't the benign organization you make it to be, and has an egregiously large influence on American policies in general.

If the goal was/is to destroy Iran's nuclear program, we should have sent the B2s on the first day of the war.

    Not the 9th.

Multiple reports are saying the uranium was already removed when we bombed the sites yesterday.

    This is a huge problem.

While Iran might not have a nuke, the uranium can easily be turned into a dirty bomb.

Every port in the US and Europe is now an easy target.

JD Vance on Meet the Press acknowledged Americans got sick of 25 years of war in the Middle East, but we had "stupid presidents" then and now we have Trump.

Where did I say one word about Qatar??? Because Qatar greases American palms with a shit ton of money, then it's okay for the AIPAC to do the same??? Both entities (and every other single one like those two) should be booted from this country and declared illegal. Don't conflate one with the other. You just proved my original point; Israelis really don't have a clue how or what the average American thinks. You just want to sell us on the fallacy that two wrongs make a right so your own country can keep doing the wrong thing right along side ours. We're both led by idiots. The only difference between you and I is that I'm not drinking the Koolaid or buying bridges in the desert.........

There is no good that can outweigh the bad that has occurred on or since that tragic event. It jas been a percussion of worsening tragedies fueled by greed and ignorance.

In short, it's been an absolute inexcusable cluster fuck that turned Israel from a somewhat sympathetic country into an almost inarguable villain in the eyes of the world.

There will almost certainly be decades of vengeance exacted upon Israel regardless of the outcome.

    Saying this for years
That sounds good when you step back and the timeline looks shorter from perspective.

My issue is was the nuclear deal Obama and the West struck with Iran working? If if was, then the rock being thrown into the pond wasn't Oct. 7. It was the day Trump decided to pull out of that deal. If he doesn't do that, Oct. 7 doesn't happen.

Speaking of Oct. 7, BTW, I view that with a healthy dose of incredulity. I just don't see how an attack like that can be carried out so successfully by an enemy sharing a border against a military-conscious country with one of the most potent intelligence forces in the world and one of the most efficient armed forces. And the country it's being enacted against just happens to be led by a man who is on shaky and political footing and had been warning against things like this for decades. Something smells a bit fishy about this to me.
