Jesus. I didn't realize you swung that way... And then he's just a kid. But guess they say age is just a number...

I’m coming around to Carter Bryant more…

I think I'd still be most excited for Kon or Essengue.

No. Russian Orthodox and Orthodox Catholic are the same thing. The former is a branch of the latter.

Technically, Orthodox Christians are Catholics. In 1054, the Eastern patriarchs and the Pope of Rome excommunicated each other. The churches are the same in many ways, but there is a fundamental difference in the Creed, our priests are allowed to marry (in fact, my father was a priest) and we don't follow the Pope.

Most Orthodox churches are divided by ethnicity. There is no strong centralization. There are Russian, Greek (actually a couple of types of Greek and Russian branches), Serbian, Syrian (Antiochian), etc. There's a Korean Orthodox Church. Most of the Russian churches in the U.S. now are part of the Orthodox Church of America.

It's complicated to explain. Just, if you hear Russian Orthodox, it's the same as being Orthodox Christian or Orthodox Catholic.

I'm not sold on Demin at all - I would bet he doesn't get a second contract in the league - but if we take him, I'm hoping for a 6'9" Sergio Rodriguez

Wow. His court vision impressed me. Control of the offense. That said I’ve never looked at his stats, just the vibe I got. Like I said above….I have always loved tall PGs.

I'm not necessarily sure he's going to play fulltime PG in the NBA but that size and passing is certainly impressive. His handle isn't the best and he's got to tighten that up if he wants to play minutes at pg.

The draft is on Wednesday and the mocks are all over the place. No consensus after 1 and 2... I mean I can't find two mocks that are close to the same after the first two picks. Should be wild. I hope we're very active.

This time last year Portland’s interest in Clingan was out there.

    Extremely quiet this year

Tuesday I will attend the Green Room press conference. I will see if there is a guy that is worth drafting.

    Cheers from New York ;)

I am not prepared enough. I was already nervous coming through the border, I decieded not to be fancy with the Toblerone. But I went through pretty easily in the end.

I'd like the Blazers to get one of those Brooklyn firsts. CMB would be fun on defense.

When I read this the first time through I thought you said to bribe them with Toradol before doubling back and figuring it out.

    Pros and Cons:
Carter Bryant: great potential!.... but unproved and not able to dribble?
CMB: could be the next Draymond.... but with even worse shooting. And we've had a lot of "next Draymonds"
Kasparas Jakucionis: big point guards are the new thing! but this one might not be a PG and might not have NBA athleticism
Cedric Coward: he's got it all - athleticism, shooting, defense... against really shitty opposition
Egor Demin: passing savant at 6'9"! but can't get past anyone, can't defend anyone and may not be able to shoot

    Feel free to add

I think at 11 I'm down to Demin, Coward and Bryant. I also wouldn't mind Queen.

I like CMB but he should be picked in the late teens or 20s.
