Born in New Jersey. Went to Stanford. Literally the only fans who know she is even from Oregon are Oregon basketball nerds. She certainly has never gone out of her way to give our state a shout out....or even acknowledge she's from here. Nice kid, but her ambitions are unlikely to include podunk little us.......
She played all her high school years in Beaverton. If I had a full ride I'd go to Stanford over Oregon or Oregon State too. Her twitter says she is from Oregon right in her bio.
Close enough. You may reject the Metro area, and some of the metro area may reject Portland, but it's all intertwined. You love Nike so much you represent Beaverton more than you'd like to admit.
I watched a video of some of those turnovers. Some of the players she plays with are taken by surprise so badly by the pass that they just miss it all together. A bunch of those turnovers could be assists.
