Interesting. Jrue is 35 years old, and has 3 years left on his contract for $32.4M + I like Jrue as a player, but why pick up so much $ on a 35+ year old? Plus add a couple second round picks to make the deal happen? Odd.
Oh, I get that, but Boston is in a for a mother fucking world of financial hurt, and this saves them an asinine amount of cash. Not that they have future picks to trade to Portland, but for Portland to include picks seems weird.
