Actually, Ahaman Green will be a better backup than Jamal Lewis this season. Mike Anderson is now in Baltimore and dont be surprised to see him getting the majority of the carries. And Jones' is very injury prone so you never know with him. I do find it a joke that Alexander went ahead of Johnson, and Westbrook went in the first round.
Mike Anderson isnt even the 2nd string RB in Baltimore right now...Ahman Green is more of an injury risk than Kevin Jones. Green isnt even playing in the preseason finale because of "precautions".
Round 3 Is where you started to go wrong.I like the first 2 rounds. The third round is too early for a Tight End. It just is...why settle for Antonio Gates when you could have had Santana Moss who had 1400 yds and 9 TD's or Chris Chambers who had 1100 yds and 11 TD's. Not to mention that you can find a good TE available in the 5th in 6th rounds, whereas the WR position will likely be well picked out by then. You are better off waiting till the 6th-7th round and making sure to grab an Jason Witten/Chris Cooley type when the WR core is picked out then. 4th Round, Plaxico Burress, nice pick.5th Round.... Joey Galloway = 34 year old Speed Reciever. Stay away, once he loses a step his career is over and that might happen this year. 6th Round, Andre Johnson, solid pick.7th Round....I would have taken Jake Plummer or Kurt Warner personally. Trent Green + Ultra Conservative Coach = Bad Mix. 8th Round....Way too early for a kicker. The difference between Jason Elam and John Kasay, besides the 6 rounds later Kasay was drafted, is nothing. Actually, John Kasay had a better season and he went in the 13th round. You should have loaded up on a 3rd RB in case of injury, or to trade off and rip someone off who did suffer an injury. 9th Round....Too Early for a Defense also. Once again, the difference between Baltimore in the 9th round, and Washington, Dallas in the 15th round is next to nothing fantasy wise. Cincinnati lead the league in Interceptions last season and they went in the 13th round. You can afford to wait on a Kicker/Defense.10th-15th rounds. Load up on RB's, WR's, and maybe a backup QB if its a deeper league. In a 10-12 team league, this way when one of them explodes onto the scene you can trade him to someone to improve your starting roster. Not to mention should any of your starters get injured you have plenty of depth and dont have to make one of those desperate trades to get a RB where you end up paying way too much. One of your players is bound to not perform or get injured which will free up the roster spot for a backup Kicker/Defense once their bye week comes around. You can always play matchups and find whoever is playing someone like the Bills that week to start at Defense/Kicker. Never waste a roster spot on a backup Kicker/Defense.
ok man, thanks for the pointers. Next time i'll know better....my 4th league hasn't drafted yet its tomorrow night at 7, so i'll use your ideas and keep them in mind. i hope you enjoyed making me look like a fool. lol

It just means you were lucky man. lol If he had stayed healthy you would have likely lost that trade IMO because Burress is well outproduceing McCardell. :whistling:
