Should draft a solid shooter now with Simons gone. Im kind a warming up to Coward because we've had solid luck with 4 year college players and he has a well rounded game and some dog. Good shooter too.

Totally random but the only prospect to follow the Blazers on IG is Nique Clifford

Get one of those Brooklyn picks in the 20's.

Here's a trade idea the Bulls get Jerami and pick 11, we get Patrick Williams, good ole Zach Collins and our FRP debt to them is absolved. Williams has been less productive and got less PT from the Bulls for the last three seasons. He has one more year than Jerami on his deal. I guess it only works if the Bulls like two guys at 11 and 12 in this draft. Zach doesn't get many minutes with them either.

We could give them the worst of the 2029 FRPs and a second rounder.

I don't know their roster composition. Can they even take on 5 players from the first round?

I'd give up Kris Murray and Rupert for one of those in the 20's. Not sure what they'd be interested in. I can see some interest in Banton but I don't think he can be traded?

At this point with the trade for Holiday I just cannot see them picking up a backcourt player.
If CMB is available at 11 I feel they should get him.

Then there is the off chance the Blazers figure out how to move up in this draft. That obviously changes everything.

I have cooled on him since I just saw a list of recently-drafted players who were over 22 on draft day. Yeesh.

the Chicago obligation is irritating and a reminder about how bad a GM Olshey was....but it's not the dark cloud hanging over the Blazers some seem to feel it is. I sure wouldn't give up a lottery pick to be out from under a lottery protected obligation. If the Blazers make the playoffs in 2026 or 2027, problem solved. If they appear bound for the play-in in 2028 and Milwaukee is a bottom team, then, time for a tank. After 6 years in the lottery a 7th year won't matter
