If we make a selection, it's gunna be Dairy Queen, if he's still available

Bryant can play a role immediately.

    Kasparas less so.

Demin much less so. He's much more of a project.

Bryant is the most sure thing out of the three. Not necessarily that he will be best.

Kind of not sure what direction the Blazers will go. On the one hand they seem to really have pivoted to a win now mindset. On the other hand with draft picks they've really wanted to grab players with the best upside.

All the role players added - outside Ayton - have been very good defenders. I could see the Blazers going with a nice role playing defender. Or maybe they figure the place to get those role players is with veterans and save all the upside gambles for another draft pick.

Really have zero idea of who we will take.

Doesn't fit the archetype of defensive versatility that Cronin has prioritized on the roster.

I think it's 50/50 at best whether we keep the pick

As evidenced by the Jrue trade I suspect the Blazers might be past going for BPA and instead trying to build the roster for best fit.

If the Blazers were in the top5 I suspect they would lean more to BPA. Down at pick #11 though, they might be thinking best fit.

I remember Lillard was very impressive at the combine and Coward has also turned heads there this year. Williams did a couple years ago too.

I want Ace Bailey or Rasheer Fleming. I know Ace says he wont play but millions have a way of motivating people and he’s young and full of bravado. If you can move up a few picks and take him he’s our best shot at a potential allstar.

At 11 its always likely to be a swing and a miss (although SGA was taken at 11) and I’m willing to risk his bad attitude given his insane talent, skills, size and athleticism.

An unathletic throwback (in the bad sense) 1980’s-esque big? Yeah. Fuck that.

Take the most athletic/skilled guy over 6’7” and preferably over 6’8”. BPA (= a guard) is idiotic with all our guards.

Queen would piss me off. I like a lot of guys that will be around at 11 besides him. I still think we are picking for someone else and that there is some deal with pick 11 and who knows what else that makes the Jrue deal make more sense but Joe has made deals that make no sense, promised to balance the roster during the season and done nothing at the deadline before so I'm not holding my breath. We'll just take it as it comes I guess.

I predict two boring boring days. Only one pick, no trades; Essengue will not be available, so I won't be very excited by who we get.. No second round pick.

Second round picks are tomorrow so are you predicting two boring days? I think we're going to make a trade today and the 11th pick will belong to another team, just a hunch.
