I know that we all got surprised by the Deni trade last year but I just don't see that happening twice. I don't think anyone has come up with a trade for a really good player that is feasible.

Although, if we really don't like anyone who is available at 11, I can see us trading down and trying to get an extra pick,

If we keep the pick, Carter Bryant if he’s available. If not, Kasparas.

Without giving up #11, I'd be interested to see what OKC wants for Topic. They already have plenty of guards, so I don't know where he gets minutes. Without knowing salaries, I'd be willing to offer some combination of Jabari, Murray, Rupert or Reath.

While I think OKC would consider moving Topic - they used the #12 pick on him last year after the injury knowing he would sit out that year. None of those 4 Blazers even have end of the first round value let alone lottery pick value.

I think we'd have to give them a future pick with few protections or some pretty nice asset. Would you give up #11 for Topic? I wouldn't but that is likely closer to the value needed. Maybe being a weaker draft last year Topic has quite a bit less value than this years #11. Still would imagine he's at least mid first round value for this draft.

Other issue is I'm not really seeing a possible Topic role either with Jrue+Scoot here. If lets say we trade Scoot and Grant for a star I could see bringing in Topic to backup Jrue/Sharpe though.

    1. Jackucionis
    2. Demin
    3. Coward

One of the three will be here.

Still hoping we see a trade and they are just waiting for Draft to make a splash.

I am going to make a tier list with maybe a short blurb --- I am going by fit and what they bring -- I think this team needs shooting , creator , solid 3 point shooter and of course play solid or better D and might be ready within 2 to 3 seasons. Also only doing prospects that COULD be there so no Ace Bailey's etc and assuming they stay at 11

    A tier

    Carter
    Coward
    Nique Clifford

    B Tier

    Jakucionis
Queen -- ONLY if there is Trade to get rid of Ayton

    The REST

Noa Essengue - Gamble to high
Demin -- He is the best of this list BUT something makes me not want him cannot put finger on it.
Boyles - One trick pony -- D and that's about it

Can Holiday be traded immediately with a draft pick? ( I read he cannot be traded with another player for 60 days.)

He definitely can as the trade is not official yet. And the initial trade can also be expanded. Everything is possible.
