That almost makes me feel worse. Like Schmitz had some tunnel vision or confirmation bias because he's been lapping up this guy's bath water for 18 months and now he has to be right.

If we got the next Jokic I would be ecstatic. That's a lot to hope for.

So, we keep Ayton, Clingan and then Hansen as the third string?

    Trade Williams and Reath?

Last thing I read before the draft is that we're shopping Deandre and Rob more than anyone else which made me think Jerami is staying.

Grant is staying because Joe’s dumbass didn’t trade him last summer.

no, just no. The guy will be unplayable. Swanigan was a better pick all things considered

I want to make something clear and I am going to be blunt but honest so buckle up

Let's make something clear from the jump -- this pick was a MASSIVE reach -- PERIOD

Now if they would have traded back again to around 21 to 25 or so it still would have been a reach BUT it would have been much easier to justify the pick then taking him at 16. This pick pretty much means Ayton and Williams are GONE by this time next year if not sooner cause this is two years in a row where the Blazers used a first round pick on a center. I am not going to go on a rant about who they passed up on at this time cause it's obvious and I want to try and be fair to Yang cause it's not his fault Cronin made this reach. While this pick will be graded very low F to a maybe C minus if you take potential into account at best the real crime will be if Cronin does nothing else of note. Meaning if it's just Yang and Jrue plus maybe a minimum signing and/or maybe re-sign Walker then this offseason will be a fucking joke and prolly a C grade only because Jrue is a solid player and the trade of the 11th was a pretty good trade.

I am just going to say it ... If Cronin cannot make more moves like trading Thybulle , Williams and Reath ( with Yang on roster he has to be gone ) then Cronin is hands down the worst fucking GM in the league and if a Croninite wants to defend him my advice to you. Please do yourself a favor and take your lips off of his ass and get a damn clue and I am being nice when I say this cause I want to be harder on idiots who still believe in this clown. I am willing to see what else he can do the rest of this offseason but as of right now any good will he earned from the Deni trade is long gone and it will take a small miracle to save this offseason from being the summer of stupidity by Joe Cronin.

Ball is in his court please prove me wrong cause right now I want to go to his office and pack it up in a garbage sack and throw it in the first train box car heading the fuck out of the state of Oregon -- PERIOD

NOW to the Player ( almost forgot this part )

I watched tape of him and he looks VERY good but can he do it in the NBA where the game is faster then in the league he played. I like his passing and he has what looks to be a damn good post game and not going to lie looks better then DC's tape. However again will it translate into the NBA and i have my doubts but i hope he proves me wrong.
