    I don't think he's gonna be here by 2028.

He was mocked top 5, earlier in the year. Pretty big slide after the post-season, combine, and workouts.

If any team thought he was a top 10 talent, they almost certainly got him for good value, so it makes me think all the front offices saw something they didn't like.

I agree... how often does new ownership keep the old front office and coach around for more than 1-2 years?

Most surprising and entertaining Blazer draft since LMA/Roy!

No idea how it will turn out, but a crazy night.

I would have rather just taken Carter Bryant at 11 and called it a day, honestly. Getting the other FRP just feels like a wash at this point.

But maybe we could get two Yangs for the price of one?

I watch the draft with the same group every year. We were discussing how this was the most entertaining draft for us since the Oden/Rudy, Zbo trade draft.

Didn't we do that? Clingan and Yang?

Clearly, you can never have enough centers.

This is what people get for bitching about us being too small for years.

I think they have a front office that thinks - genuinely- that they are smarter than they are. They overthink things as if they are being some super smarty pants basketball wizards when in reality many times the smartest thing is to make the logical, safe pick. Address a need if you don’t love the best player available. Overthinking it to the point that you take a guy that literally nobody else would have taken at 16 just means you are stupid, not smart. I’m sure they aren’t done - they better not be - or these guys are fucking shitheads

We moved only five spots back and got a 2028 unprotected 1st, got back 2 second round picks (as we gave away two yesterday in the Simons trade). So i’m giving this move a B. Unsure about the selection of Yang with a couple good players on the board.

Tells me Ayton and Williams are being shopped hard - certainly Williams. My primary frustration is seeing Grant still on the roster.

IDK, I feel like we all said that about Neil in 2016 and he was still here in 2021.

With this organization I'll believe it when I see it.

The team won’t be owned by Jody in 2028.

Hahahha... the only difference is the front office has good reason to believe they are smarter than message board fans. Message board fans have no legit reason to think they are smarter than any NBA front office.

Yet nobody in the nba agrees with Cronin. So who’s smarter. Cronin or the rest of the nba.

Nobody agrees with Cronin? What does that even mean and how did you come to this conclusion?
