Or is the real question, why wasn't Drury ALL OVER THAT considering the Sabres were looking to move him for less than we thought? Once again, my point with Drury is highlighted, where is he to make deals like this, should have been a slam-dunk for Drury, but nope no creativity and no plan as usual. Boy does Drury have pressure on him this summer, at least to me, not to Dolan and many of the fans in here unfortunately though.
No clown. That's not the question. When you see a deal like that you know that the Sabres who are retarded didn't want to deal him in the conference under any circumstances. So Drury never had a chance at him. Drury was offering up a lot more than that from earlier reports last season. Drury probably has a better chance of getting him now from Utah than he did from the Sabres. There is a reason Buffalo never wins jack shit. They give players away for shit. They did the same thing with Reinhart who I wanted the Rangers to go after.
So, your takeaway of Peterka getting dealt for very little is not our Pres/GM should have been in on that, it's how stupid Buffalo is for making that trade, as if any of us care about Buffalo. Okay, sounds good to me...
