If the Hawks are into pick up Rui for one future second rounder and using up a good portion of their biggest TPE, I'd do this and cut both Vincent and Kleber. It also doesn't have any effect on the Hawks cap holds, leaving them 15M under the tax.

I'd be happy to get off of Deandre just to free up time at the 5. Also in the trade I proposed we get a second and a pretty big TPE.

I don't see how this benefits us other than just offloading DA. I think we can do better

    I'd be happy with better.

I do think that if we're using the Hawks as a third team to take salary into their TPE this might make more sense for us, if the Lakers don't want to pony up their only tradeable FRP (2031 or 2032 on Monday).

Still cut Vincent and Kleber but keep Knecht.

I would rather get the desired Lakers assets for Grant first.

Is it a Lakers Say No or a LeBron Says No clause?

Grant and Rui are pretty similar though, baketball-wise

Lakers cannot trade him unless he approves. I don't see Lebron allowing the Lakers send him to Portland. If this happens it would be way more shocking than the Hansen pick

I want Vandy. Some balls off the bench would be nice.

It’d be a back room shoe company thing if it happened but I could see it happening.

still the same problem as the Grant trade proposals. Lakers are over the 1st apron and have to send out more salary (or equal) than they take back. They'd just about have to trade Rui, DFS, and Milton, and that absolutely guts their wing depth

Blazers would get a lot better though

Fanspo has them 4.3M under the first apron right now and the trade idea I have above has them give up Vincent, Kleber, Rui and Knecht, they would get Rob and Grant and would still be 2.5M under the first apron.

That would give them Luka, Reeves, Jerami, LeBron, Rob, DFS, Vando and Milton along with Goodwin and Bronny. They would then have to go over the first apron to fill there roster. Especially if they get someone on a vet min instead of people with younger min eligibility.

I'm only pitching that they'd want Grant and Rob, everyone else (Rui, Vincent, Kleber and Knecht) is to match those salaries. They'd have to believe what Rob and Jerami would bring them along with being able to fill out their roster with min players that would make sense would bring them more wins than what they are sending out.

I misspoke....I meant tax line, not apron

again...including Rui is the problem. He has been better than Grant the last 2 seasons, and he's much cheaper

I just want Ayton gone...I'd do DFS, Vincent, and Kleber for Ayton and Reath/Rupert. Doesn't hamstring Laker depth
