Yeah, I made a post and said if we see no other significant moves but you're right. We should give it at least until training camp. Two years ago it took until September 27th for everything we were to completely change. So again, we should give it time.

To see how many dumbasses would click on the thread, and leave stupid comments.

Like many have said, very hard to do a projected rotation without knowing the final roster. But I’ll name the lineups I’m interested in seeing in stints.

    - Holiday / Shae / Avdija / Camara / Hansen
I could see Shae getting an easy 3-5 buckets off cuts playing with Hansen. I still believe Shae will be a 30+ppg guy eventually, he needs to be able to get a few easy baskets. Between Holiday and Avdija, there are still two very good ball handlers on the court, and three very good defenders to make up for Shae and Hansen’s shortcomings on the other end.

    - Scoot / Shae / Camara / Avdija / Clingan
What I hope our season’s ending starting lineup will be. Clingan’s screen-setting in particular will be important when Scoot is on the floor. Hansen seems to set a screen to slip and expect the ball back to make the next decision every time. He will eventually need to learn to set screens like Clingan and ensure his man is free to make the next read.

    - Holiday / Avdija / Camara / Hansen / Clingan
This is more about position-less basketball and experimenting to see what we look like with Avdija as the first option. I would try this lineup against teams like Cleveland, SA, Dallas—I’m sure there are a few more.

All three are hard to see too much time of because Grant and DA are still on the team. I’m not really interested in what the rotation is with them included.

People hammered the same point last year and we had zero changes after the Clingan pick.

Sure Blazers might have another move. Guess what, people can have a new opinion then!

I don't get these people that seem to think a projection is tattooed on their forehead forever.

Or you know, have one opinion today, and can update it later?

Nobody is saying the Blazers roster will be static for years. It's pretty easy to type a few sentences on it today. When something changes type a few new sentences.

After picking up the team option for Rupert, by my count, the Blazers have two potential roster spots open:
    - J Walker is a restricted FA
    - D Reath has a team option not yet picked up.

The Blazers also have 2 2-way contracts open after the signing of C Love.

With Ayton gone, it's "so far, so good".

So now does everybody have to go back and repost their predictions thinking DA would be on the roster?

Yes, it's to remove Ant, Grant, and Ayton from the team. I'd love all of those guy coming off the bench, but coach would never do it, so they gotta go. 2 down, 1 to go.
