Can't argue there, even though they need C.

Apparently he had some kind of mouth infection which caused him to lose weight down to 190, but it seems his normal weight is around 200. He probably could stand to gain another 10 lbs.

I believe teams blew it on Spence. Scouting reports say he's a big game player. He slipped because of inconsistency in the regular season. I don't give a flying fuck if he's inconsistent in the regular season if you have enough Panarin types to get us into the playoffs. You can't teach big game performance. You're born with that shit. Drury had it. Bennett and about 3 other Panthers have it. Tikkanen, Messier and Leetch had it. Goodrow to an extent has it. You need to get guys like that. Spence should not have made it out of the first round. Lafreniere showed he has some of that in the Florida series and a couple years before that.

Laughable that dumbass ESPN rated our draft a C+. Clueless in their evaluation. Said Rangers selected Barnhill too high. Wrong. He went exactly where he was supposed to go. Lindgren was also put on several sleeper lists for this draft. He was a steal where the Rangers took him. Passmore was rated much higher in some places then where the Rangers took him. I'd give them a B. Wasn't crazy about the Gonchar pick and not sure why they went with Jung who wasn't on anybody's radar.

So I guess our top 5 now are
    Perreault
    Spence
    Emery
    Fortescue
    Laba
    McB/Roorbeck/Lamb/Barnhill

Roobroeck way ahead of Laba and Fortescue. Scored 20 goals as an Ahl rookie on a shit team. You also forgot Othmann.

Yeah, i'm not including Othmann really anymore as a prospect, since he's really F/T now.
