Assume this means they canvassed the whole league and found no takers.

a shame we get nothing for him given that despite his money, he is a good player and he is also expiring.

I'll be curious how much less they were able to buy him out for vs what was owed and how that will effect their Cap?

It'd be interesting to see what kind of return they were offered for him. I suspect it wasn't financially logical, but also he might have wanted out.

I'd be surprised if he didn't have something lined up already, and that's what the buyout amount is for.

It will reduce our cap by the buyout amount.

The extraction of value was toumani, DA was alway a "worth a try" shot, there's no further value to extract, but it was always worth a try to rehabilitate him instead of Nurk.

I imagine once HY was drafted, there was no reason to try and keep him as a backup

So as I understand, whatever contract he gets subtracted from our cap?

A vet min isn't out of the question I suppose

Fuck it. Later Ayton. Get Grant out of here now. If Joe gets rid of Ayton/Ant/Grant all in one offseason he gets a pass on the shitty returns.

Clearly you sometimes need to look beyond the press conference. Did you really expect a GM to introduce him as a reclamation project?

Cronin over leveraged because teams knew he had to make a trade. This will be the excuse.
