I posted it here http://nflcentral.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=7618 .
I was told we're getting a 6th rounder for Jolley, but giving up a 7th rounder for Sean Ryan (Likely a special teamer/depth move)Also, I love the acquiring of Sloan Thomas because its a Classic Bill Belicheck move, get a player cut from your week one opponent to learn as much as you can about the Tennessee offense.

Comeback @ Aug 31 2006, 11:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>And just to think, dumbass Herm Edwards traded a 1st rounder for Jolley.</div>No he didnt. The trade was - Jets trade First Rounder - #26 (Fabian Washington)7th Rounder - #230 (Traded to New England, Matt Cassel)for Second Rounder - #47 (Mike Nugent)Doug Jolley6th Rounder - #182 (Cedric Houston)6th Rounder - #185 (Traded to move up for Kerry Rhodes)In reality, the Jets traded down 21 picks for Doug Jolley and 2 late round picks. If you follow a draft value chart the Jets gave Doug Jolley the value of a Third rounder. Still a terrible deal, but we didnt give up a first rounder.

He wasnt even the most valueable part of that trade on our end as the Second Round pick carried much more value then Doug Jolley ever did.

The closest value to that is 245 points at the 69th pick overall.... a 3rd round pick.We traded a 3rd round pick for Jolley, not a 1st.
