Scoot/Jrue Shaedon/Matisse Toumani/Kris/Rupert Deni/Grant Clingan/Rob There's a spot for a wing shooter, but I assume they're gonna give Kris and/or Rupert a shot at filling that role. Plus, Grant and Jrue are going to play way more minutes than regular backups.

We were too close the last 3 seasons, I believe, to the tax to use them without going over. And there was absolutely NO reason to pay the tax the past 3 seasons. I still don't expect it to be used, but there's now plenty of room below the tax to make use of it.
We used the Grant exception. Other than that we've been near the tax so the exceptions were worthless with Jody/Vulcan owners.
Yeah especially on a one year deal. I get not adding multi year salaries but seems like a mistake to just put on adding any players.
Players have to want to come, as well. We've been a bottom feeder for 3 years, with no clear "star". I'd choose Trae and Jalen Johnson and Dyson Daniels and Risacher as well.
