Re: Mel Kiper's top 5 at each position

Calvin Johnson > Dwayne JarrettI would have put Troy Smith #3, I think he could very well be this years Vince Young. I would have put Okam over Harrison too for Junior DT's. Otherwise, not bad IMO.

What a lark. The 49ers are going to have the 1st overall pick unless the Bills beat them out for it.Either way, Bills get Quinn, 49ers get WR/RB of their choice.

Re: Mel Kiper's top 5 at each position

Mel Kiper is a true genius. He found what he loved to do, found out he could get paid very well for it, then does his job to the fullest. No one else in the world can compare to his overall knowledge of the college game and the potential of players. I can only wish that I will find a job that I like that much and can do that well....Anyways. The list looks pretty good, but then again it is really really early.

Re: Mel Kiper's top 5 at each position

I hope the Ravens get LaRon Landry if they don't make the playoffs. That or Joe Thomas, Sam Baker, or Levi Brown. It's going to be interesting who gets Mason Crosby. Reportedly, a 70 yard field goal maker. I really really hope the Ravens draft him to replace Stover's aging leg that is getting worser and worse every year in the 3rd. like that Gastowski dude that went to the Pats but the guy is a lot better.
