Re: Greece > USA
JJ Redick is too one dimensional. I'd take Morrison over him anyday. JJ is strictly, roll of screen, catch, shoot. Morrison can shoot from anywhere and isn't afraid to go to the basket. And I'm sorry, Antawn Jamison isn't that good. He can't play defense as a SF cause he's not quick and not big enough to play PF. Again, Morrison is a higher percentage shooter than him and has a true position.Arenas averaged 2.5 made 3p per game last year. We definately need that. For the 08 Olympics, if I were Coach K, I'd want my roster to bePG: Chris Paul, Gilbert Arenas, Chauncey BillupsSG: Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Ron ArtestSF: Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Adam MorrisonPF: Amare Stoudemire, Dwight Howard, Shawn MarionC: Greg Oden, Marcus Camby, Chris BoshPaul is a great passer and floor leader plus a good guard rebounder. Kobe is what he is, the best player in the NBA, like him or not. Melo was the most consistant player in the FIBA WC. Amare is there for inside scoring. He's a beast attacking the basket. Oden is there for size. Almost every team but ours have a 7 footer that is useful. Oden will be the best player in college basketball next season.LeBron, Wade, Arenas are 3 of the best guards in the NBA. Arenas for 3s. Wade for mid-range jumpers and attacking the basket. LeBron cause he's big and attacks the basket and fadeaways. Billups is a top PG. He knows how to run a championship offense and is good at draining those elusive 3s. Morrison is a shooter with range everywhere. Artest is the best swing defender in the NBA. Plus he's capable of scoring. Howard and Bosh of the bench first. Bosh is turning into a complete player. Howard is a situational rebounder. Camby provides D and rebounding. Dalembert is a very good defender and he can have spurts of scoring. Long body and athleticism makes him ideal for those pesky Europeans.
