These guys just talk out of their arses, lol. They’re chronically negative no matter what the topic is. We suck because of Ayton, we suck without Ayton. You can’t win.

Yet youd agree with me if I said they were doing well.

The team is mid. Any rational fan knows this.

We were better with ayton than we are without him. Thats how bad the team is now.

Its fine. At least we got rid of the two players who were absolutely useless here.

And our team is worse for now. But that is how it has to be to get better. They just waited forever on simons.

Any rational fan( not fair weather troll) knows there is such a thing as trending. A mid team trending down is no good. A mid team trending up is good. We are overall getting younger. We have youth that will get better.
Are we there yet? Of course not. But your daily doom and gloom is off the charts these days and is sooo irrational, people should know you are just trolling.

when you gonna drop the shtick and stop posting like a prick on here?

To bad passionate fans can be banned from here for “causing drama” but a mod can intentionally troll the fan base, do it on a regular basis and get mod support for it. just sayin.

When you cant respect other people enough to drop an annoying shtick after the masses have told you you are annoying, then you are one selfish asshole.
    Just my opinion.

When everyone on the team has a negative +/-, we are just nitpicking who sucked more than the other. Ayton could be an offensive force when he wanted to be and also seemed to have a good on court game with Scoot. Often found him for lobs. Ayton could also rebound well when he wanted to. But it was always when he was motivated for his own reasons. And of course the locker room and off court stuff was a bridge too far, even for this owner and management group. Sharpe had a negative +/- also. But he is looked upon completely differently from Ayton. I agree, we got rid of the two that were useless to the stated goals of management, develop the youth. At the time that meant Sharpe/Scoot. Now they can add Camara, Clingan, Yang and even Deni to that group. Watching Ant at the end of games was torture as it went against the stated goals. The young players should have been learning from being in games during crunch time. Not from watching Ant or Grant go ISO and do what they wanted. I agree, this team is worse now without Ayton and Ant. I wish it was further worse without Grant/Holiday. Fully roll with the youth mixed with a smattering of vets that they could get back in trade for Grant/Holiday. I would love to watch those games with the young guys running the show, learning from mistakes, just like OKC did.

That doesn't make up for the porous defense.

arguably, Ayton "shoots better". But without question Clingan is a batter rim protector, better paint defender, disrupts more shots, & a better rebounder. The totality of that far outpaces Ayton's alleged better shooting

but even with Ayton's supposedly better shooting his TS% was .583; Clingan was at .574...and he was a rookie learning the ropes. More than that is this: Ayton averaged 1.23 points/shot; Clingan averaged 1.31. Yet Ayton is the "better shooter"?

The numbers don’t support you. Ayton was a negative last year. Our team is better without him.

Technically correct. But in production per center minute played. To be determined. We are certainly not as deep

Talent wise sure. But that doesn’t mean he actually made us better. And stats show he didn’t, as someone posted a winning record with and without Ayton last year

an example would be Clippers letting Paul George go. They got worse talent wise but from a team standpoint they didn’t lose anything and actually got pieces that fit their team better.

And Clingan can set a screen. Ayton doesn't seem to want to.

Ayton jacks up a bunch of inefficient jumpers. Ayton might have had skills to be better on offense than Clingan, but he didn't capitalize on those.

I will give Ayton credit he is better defending small players on the perimeter.

Which is my point. Now everybody slide up. Now your 2nd string center can’t stay healthy….now what? Not sure about the pushback on me feeling this way. I keep getting PAGES of numbers and research about how much more efficient and better we are with NO Ayton….. we will see won’t we.
