<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers traded picks Tuesday. Portland traded the rights to the No. 3 pick to Utah for the rights to the No. 6 and No. 27 picks and the rights to a 2006 first-round pick that the Jazz got from the Detroit Pistons, a league source said. All trades had to be in by 2 p.m. ET. </div> Source This makes more sense, since Telfair and Paul/Williams just won't fit together. Now they can either get Green or Webster.
Wow great trade by Portland. They're a team in the rebuilding mode and trading down three spots to get Green at a position that they need help at is real great, and the 27th pick this year could turn into another serviceable young player. The pick from Detroit could be used in future trade deals.
Highway robbery for the Blazers - they'll still get a player they love at six, pick up little Nate at 27 and have another first round down the track.
The players Portland will pick will be bench warmers and John Nash will be fired while Deron Williams and Chris Paul will be stars in this league and will push their teams to the top, just remmember i said it first.
I wanted Deron Williams. I was not pleased. The Blazers super hyped up Webster. The Nash era was the absolute low point of my Blazers fandom.
I think it's also crazy that at age 39 in his 20th season Chris Paul played (and started) all 82 games (28 minutes per game). That's the second time he has played all 82 games.
When I was in grade school I had a classmate who left school early to be on it. I was so excited I ran all the way home to watch it LOL
