I think Ying Yang will upstage Cling Kong with his superior BB IQ and passing and 3 point shooting. Good LORD, forgot that Ying Yang's finishing is ferocious and dominant with crazy ball handling and power dunking after tricky moves and strong drives. Is Kong a better rim protectant? Maybe. It's going to be interesting to watch. I'm pulling for Yang. Quote me.

Ying Yang highlights have been very impressive to watch. Chinese Jokic doesn't even describe him accurately. He looks more impressive than Jokic, tbh. Let's see if it translates to the NBA. Better not be Chokic.

Lets just hope he can stay on the court. New centers in the NBA get taken to the cleaners for the first 1000 minutes they play. Foul trouble and the speed of the game take them a bit of tome to get used to.

They do a lot of cooking in China, so maybe he will impress us with his BBQ IQ as well as his BB IQ.

We have to be united on this front. It is either MMMBop or The Big Tariff

If we have Cling Kong, who would Yang be in the monsterverse? Maybe we just create our own kaiju. How about Mega Yang? Kaiju Bros can’t be stopped

I don't know, the bar seems to be set pretty low.

MMMbop does exactly roll off one's tongue
And the Big Tariff will be outdated in a few years, if not weeks, when a certain somebody changes his mind....again.

I won’t be here in a few years, so the big tariff can be changed then anyway

Ying rhymes with cling, therefore it's great! And the phrase ying yang, is a thing. Who cares if it has questionable meanings and references. It might work because someone of that size is probably proportionate, even if they are Asian, so I'm sure a big ying yang is probably present. Somebody have small stature like Jose Alvarado could probably be smacked in the forehead with that ying yang swinging on the court.

As long as he cooks us up what he's been serving to opposing teams in China. Has anyone else watched his highlight videos? The man is insane! Playing like Wemby, but with less fragility from the looks of it.

No doubt there will be an adjustment period in his first year, but the kid has some skills.
Not sure how long it will take him, but he is going to be pretty good. Health (as with almost all big men) is my only concern.

The competition in most of the clips isn't that great. NBA is quicker & stronger. Wonder what his TO/assist ratio is?

This is true, which is why there will be an adjustment period. At least a year. But like I said about Coward (who I loved as a prospect) is it really that much different from college? Or even those who used to come straight out of HS? Or lower-level Euro leagues?
