The Ravens cuts are all decent backups.I can personally say that Romby Bryant, Roderick Green and Dennis Haley would be good pickups for bad teams. The 3 had very good training camps and preseason performances. Depth really killed their chances though. At WR, we had Derrick Mason, Mark Clayton, Devard Darling, Demetrius Williams, and Clarence Moore. At LB, we have Ray Lewis, Bart Scott, Adalius Thomas, Dan Cody, Mike Stills, and Mike Smith.I'm kinda pissed we decided to keep 5 DTs and 5 RBs though. Wtf.

The Stephen Davis signing seems reasonable now...<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>St. Louis Rams: QB Dave Ragone, RB Moe Williams, RB Fred Russell, WR Dominique Thompson, TE Jerome Collins, OG Tony Palmer, DL Brian Howard, DL Tim Sandidge, LB Tim McGarigle, CB DeJuan Groce.</div>

Charles Rodgers was cut. Does this mean another 1st-round WR is heading to Motown??

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Jon_Vilma @ Sep 2 2006, 11:31 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>WR Tyrone Calico</div>Calico has constantly been hurt since Roy Williams horse-collared him in the 2004 preseason. Jeff Fisher said in an interview (in not so many words) that if he didn't get on the field and light it up in the preseason, he was good as gone. When Calico was asked about it, he said his first priority was to be healthy than be on the field. He dug his own grave. Missed the first 3 games, then did literally nothing except drop 2 passes against GB in the preseason finale.I'm as big a fan of Ty as there is around here, since I went to school with him and watched him play, but he's worthless unless he has some sort of major turnaround. On the bright side, I think the Nashville Kats might pick him up for the Arena league's WR/LB pos (Jack LB).
