for me it’s more eye test, how does he move, jump, good BBIQ, pass and shoot. Does he play with heart and give 110% all the time. Ayton actually passes a lot of these but downfall was heart and passion for winning.

While he looks awkward moving at times, definitely a concern the fact that a 7’ is doing quick spin moves, throwing lobs off the backboard to himself and making better passes than most PG’s.

I’m not saying he’s going to be a star but it’s possible. Been lots of guys that are overlooked, maybe we got lucky or maybe we have another Ha. I’m a gambler so I’m glad we took a risk

It's Yin Yang, not Ying Yang
Yin is water, Yang is fire.....I'm hoping for the "Yang" version

We had Dame Time, now it's,

    Yang Time.

Since nickname ideas have been thrown around in this thread I thought I'd give my two cents.

Very good passer. Teammates are having to become more aware as the make a cut to the basket and make sure their head is turned.
Likes to operate out of the high post. Is looking to facilitate and get teammates open opportunities more than look for his shot right now.
Moves well. Not as good defensively as Clingan, but more fluid offensively. Not quite as big or strong as DC either, but seems a bit smoother.
Very good basketball IQ. Seems to understand things quite quickly and although not speaking a lot of English, seems to understand more than he speaks.
Not afraid to be physical although will need to continue to build strength.
