Is that a legit source? It's been rumored that Lebron wants to bolt.

Gambo is pretty reliable but you need to know when to listen to him. He likes to use weasel words, ie. Some people have said... and It seems like... whereas when he has solid info, he will usually indicate so directly - I have heard from credible sources that...

They gave up a lot to get Russ in terms of players but the pick they gave up was their 2022 FRP. They gave AD, Max Christie, Jalen Hood-Schifino, a future second round pick they'd acquired of the Clippers and their 2029 FRP. They gave up nothing but cap space when they signed LeBron.

I honestly think they could contend this year. They should see if we're willing to take Vanderbilt, Vincent and Kleber for Grant which would give them a three forward rotation of LeBron, Rui, Jerami. They should see if they can get CP3 or Russ on a one year vet min ring chasing deal to be the third guard in a three guard rotation of Luka, Reaves and let's say Russ. They have a two center depth of DA and Hayes. They have guys in Shake Milton and Jordan Goodwin that can give them quality spot minutes at guard, they have Knecht and LaRavia who can give them minutes when needed at forward and they have another slot open for another ring chaser too.

LBJ would have been a nice, cheap addition for Cleveland...if he had not opted in to his last year with the Lakers.

Once the Blazers have ONE player at SGA/Chet/Jalen level maybe we start thinking about it.

Not sure he really has value. LeBron has a no trade clause.

Agreed - yeah there is no effective way to have him traded to Cleveland now. They are over the 2nd apron and can't aggregate salaries. They'd have to send out 3 starters or such and then at that point LBJ makes them much worse.

Lakers would want something else for eating Grants deal. I'd give up the Orlando pick but not sure more than that.

LBJ wouldn't waive his no trade clause to come here but its funny to daydream about.

Honestly, that's not nearly enough shooting to make LBJ effective. He needs to be completely surrounded by deadeye shooters.

The problem is he also needs to be surround by great defenders. Plus he can't create all the offense any more at his age so he needs someone else to be the primary offensive creator.

Thats a pretty damn difficult roster to build.

Yup, which is why the Lakers aren't doing it.

Lebron should be the ultimate free agent and play 2 games for each team this year.

Then, like the Bachelor, Lebron goes to a romantic getaway, where all 30 NBA GMs beg and grovel for him to play on their team for the playoffs. We watch Lebron go on long walks on the beach, helicopter flights, and intimate dinners with the different GMs. Instead of a rose, Lebron will give the winning GM a stuffed doll of himself from Space Jam 2.

And more people will watch this than they do the All-Star Game.

No one forced Lakers to give LeBron that contract.

I just can’t get excited about Lebron news. I am sure he just always want to be in the news so he relishes this stuff. Yawn. Retire already
