I don't know what it is about the new guy, but he comes off as more shtick than anything.

    I don't mind Danny.

Can't stand Dirt, but I like Sprague, but the problem with Sprague is he is totally a "temp of the room" guy.

When he's with Dirt, he takes on the mood and mindset of Dirt (and he's an ass hat). When he's with Danny, he's fine.

Danny without Brandon (on Jacked) is a chore to listen to.

I don't even bother with the drive time guys. I'm not sure I can explain that either. They kind of come off as though they're too good to talk about stuff sports related, and always want to be the kind of jerk/edgy type.

Not edgy like Maddog or Stephen A Smith, or an absolute dumbass like Perk, but more like Nick Wright.

Slightly pompous and thinks they're more important than they are.

Brandon and Dusty at least weren't like that.

I wish they would have kept Justin as well. I liked him alot.
What, may I ask, don't you like about Chad? I understand if you would rather not say publicly.
I also like Chad alot. He has good taste in music and supports local music, isn't afraid to discuss his son and the struggles his son and him go through. I find him very personable. Has on quality guests at times. And I generally agree with most of his takes.

The worst thing about a Dan Marang interview is him answering a long drawn out conclusion he's come to and then asking the coach or player wouldn't they agree with everything he just said? I don't see how anybody would want to team with him because they'd never touch the ball.

I can listen to Sprague and some Chad Doing and beat guys like Casey, Highkin or Richmond...Don't care for the "loud" guys out there like Marang and Fentress or Jaynes.

I get tired of anyone who goes on long rants about something "people" are saying. I don't need a long-winded segment on a stance made by a few random people on Twitter (or in chat). On that platform, I think people want substance and new information, not endless bullet-points why @LoveCaleb4Life is an idiot for thinking Rupert is going to be an all-star and should start over Grant.

He liked simons and thinks hes a superstar. His opinion about the Blazers is null after that. He knows nothing and will always be the worst thing to ever happen to Portland radio.

I know Danny is hated but honestly he is the most listenable of all these guys IMO. Dirt is a joke, Issac is a drunk, Suke is tolerable, Sprague is definitely a temp of the room guy like someone said, but this new guy is SINGLE HANDEDLY the worst. All of his takes or comments are wrong and Danny has to like halfway correct him every time

And the most hilarious part is that he talks over Danny. I think Dusty hired this dude to punish Danny.

Random fact about me - I got a associates degree in Radio Broadcasting at MHCC. Isaac was in most of my classes. I don't think MHCC has that program anymore.

You should keep up with the times and get one in podcasting or TikToking.

The best all-time Portland sports show will always be Mychal Thompson and Kermit Washington.

Number 2 is Wheels at Work.

Currently, the best nationally is Rich Eisen with a close 2nd to Dan Patrick. Both love sports. Both love talking to people about sports. Can't stand Cowherd, does the same thing every day, starts the day off with some "hot" take / rant. Then brings on a guest, repeats the rant, and tries to get guest to agree with them. Stephen A is the worst, just this rambling yelling thing over people.

    People cared back then?

The only thing I remember about going to college back then was people actually caring what HS someone else went to.

For example, if you went to L.O., and someone went to Lakeridge. Like, seriously, who cares?

This hits on my thoughts. I find Danny very plugged in and analytical in his thoughts. I realize half this forum thinks they know more than him but they just don’t. He is a massive fan of the team. Dusty just wanted to talk about his former life of being an athlete, glad he’s moved on. Morning show guys give me nothing. Isaac hates the Blazers with a passion. He’s still so butt hurt from them firing him years ago and can’t let that go. Suke knows absolutely nothing about basketball, I just roll my eyes when he try’s to have a take on it. He knows his football though. The Club hour can be a fun listen. Chad is decent. He’s a little emotional at times. I relished him eating crow after the failing Russel Wilson experiment in DEN. Canzano is a real journalist that puts a lot of thought into his articles and air topics. I don’t always agree but he does a good job explaining his view.

    Agree on Rich Eisen.

My grandpa lived on the same street as Kermit once upon a time. Said he was a hell of a nice guy.
