Yeah, I listened to Canzano and Vaughn after those comments. And I don't really care for Vaughn.

Sure, she is a beautiful woman. but I don't need them going on about how they know their Asians when they see one. It was just out of touch and out of place imo. I'm sure there is a demographic that got some big belly laughs during that.

The team isnt good, so I dont blame him. Theres nothing good about the team worth wasting segments on, to which im thankful. They take time on the draft, any trades, in the moment stuff. Theres nothing that needs to be talked about on a radio show with 16 segments that can be used for anything else and everything else is more important than a team that cant even make a play in since covid lol.

I know people here love to talk all Blazers, fine. But the team sucks so theres not many reasons to waste 15 minutes talking about them. Or 5.

They talk about the team when its meaningful, they dont waste time like Danny does because he has a complex about how important he thinks he is. Thats the time waster.

But thats a matter of preference, as I said, and everyone will miss because I said the Blazers aren't good.

But at least simons and ayton are gone so we have hope. But as of today we still arent good and have nothing to be warranting wasting segments, unless its draft picks or trades, which is default segments.

That is how radio works. In the moment conversation, not constant conversations about sport topics that have no relevance. If you like that, go get brainwashed by ESPN lol.

"THEY DONT TALK ABOUT THE BLAZERS"

*they talk about the Blazers, dont really care, because why should they when they arent good*

    "Then dont talk about them"

Lol. I love you, Nate lol.

Ive bought suke a beer for all the years of laughter and joy from the show. And thanked him for not taking any of it serious because sports is stupid in the end lol.

I didn't say they don't talk about them. I said they don't know what the fuck they're talking about.

    Try again.

That's your own fault. You should have chosen to listen to the Blazers draft show that was on Rip City Radio. You had a better option if you wanted more in depth knowledgeable draft coverage.

"They don't talk about them because they're bad. "

They also don't when they're good.

They're too cool to talk about the biggest reason the city is even remotely taken seriously in sports

For the 100th time... they never claim to be an in depth sports and especially a Blazer show. They spend just as much time talking about guy stuff then they do sports. So if it's not your cup of tea then simply dont listen.

Was what I said wrong? They don't know anything about the team.

I'm saying it's extremely lazy and borders on malpractice to put in ZERO effort to know anything about the only major pro team in their city. There is a vast gulf between what Danny knows about the Blazers and what Isaac knows about the Blazers.

Is that the one that Canzano and Steven Vaughan were on? I listened to that one too.

I usually don't listen to the radio for draft coverage. I was driving 300 miles with kids and a wife in the car with me.

That still doesn't defeat the thought that I thought those guys sucked.

Also reread what I said, I said not even in a basketball knowledge way. I wasn't scouring for stats and analytics. I just wanted to know the picks.

Yeah for some reason they're successful. I don't get it personally, but whatever. I like to listen to sports talk on a sports talk radio show..... go figure.

That's the thing fans dont get. They want certain radio heads to act how they want. But sometimes how they want might not draw ratings. We have seen that in media across all platforms.

They should just change it to 1080 Man Talk radio.

A full time minimum wage job in Portland presuming full time hourly pay would pay >$30k a year.

HCP definitely pulled that number out of his bum. I’d figure they probably make close to or at/slightly above 6 figures a year.

HCP could do a 3 hour magic show with all the shit he pulls out of his ass on a regular basis.

I do like an array of opinions of which I’ll decide what to digest. Danny does know more day to day happenings given his access to the team. I know you have quit a bit as well but for obvious reasons can’t share. I do tire on a lot of the posts here that think they are a fly on the wall of Joe’s office and know what moves shoulda and coulda been made.
