Yeah, if they're getting control of their picks back that's pretty good for them.

Hilarious that we traded Dame for Jrue, then traded Jrue, now have both back.

I wonder if this was part of the reason there was no Jrue press conference?

Very cool that he has his locker right next to Scoot.

And Billups. Scoot is going into year 3, will have arguably the best PG mentorship on one squad in nba history and will have plenty of playing time. If he can’t figure it out a year from now bye girl

Supposedly Lillard plans to come back by the all-star break. Remember Wes and Kobe came back much earlier in like 8 months. Both sucked ass though. KD took the whole year off and seemed close to the same.

He will be the first to tell Scoot he's traded!

Not too mention he probably won't play the first year , then has an out for the third year.

Well, I do GAF and I don't think this is a good basketball move.

The next move is clear. The 15th spot will be signing Brogdon.

I'm not really worried about the $ of the contract. It's only the MLE. It probably eliminates the ideas of extending Deni. But can try to extend Camara/Sharpe without worry about it.

I'm a bit concerned that our 3 PG will accept the correct roles and be team players. Hopefully that doesn't become an issue when Dame returns.

On the flip side hopefully Dame can keep Grant motivated properly. This actually has me more optimistic Grant will accept bench role, deferring to teammates, and defensive effort. I think all the Grant trade ideas can be shelved.

Can't think of a 22 year old NBA player that has ever had more accomplished mentors at their position than Scoot has today. Jrue+Dame as teammates then Billups as HC.

He's a free agent. Bi-annual exception is available as well as our 15th spot???

Well. If the blazers lose their new defensive identity, I would be disappointed.

Defense first blazers are more fun to watch.

I agree. Joe did a great job in rebuilding the team with youth and just a few vets. I don't want to give up too much of it to get older.

Guys like Dame, who can shoot, have a better chance to play when they get older. Giannis, who can not shoot, but relys on his athleticism is getting to be risky because of his age/salary. I could be totally wrong here, but I would not be surprised if he starts breaking down real quick.

hopefully management won't go back to consulting his approval on personell moves & he's fine with just balling.

I get the excitement of getting this all time Blazer back in the fold, but the track record for older players coming back to close to their previous form from an achilles is not good. My expectations are not that high as Father Time always wins... hopefully Dame handles his final Blazer chapter with grace and a few more highs.

Only Blazer fans will turn down an MVP player if they have to give up a solid starter.
